Swiss army chief Andre Blattmann warned, in a Swiss newspaper article on Sunday, the risks of social unrest in Europe are soaring. Recalling the experience of 1939/1945, Blattman fears the increasing aggression in public discourse is an explosively hazardous situation, and advises the Swiss people to arm themselves and warns that the basis for Swiss prosperity is "being called into question."

Concur. But WHICH Swiss Army knife?
Ah. Got it.
The first federal gun-control law (hereinafter the Weapons Act) became effective in Switzerland on January 1, 1999.[8] As originally enacted, the Weapons Act brought a gun-control regime that was similar to the gun-control laws of neighboring countries, albeit less restrictive. Between 2004 and 2010, several amendments made the Weapons Act more stringent.
A significant revision was occasioned by Switzerland's accession to the Schengen Agreement, the common border regime of the European Union (EU).[9] This Revision of the Act[10] became effective on December 12, 2008, the day of Switzerland's accession to the Schengen regime,[11] and its primary purpose was the transposition of the European Union's Weapons Directive[12] into Swiss law.[13] Among these newly enacted measures was the introduction of the European Firearms Pass.[14] Although Switzerland is not an EU Member State, it has close ties with the EU and many of its laws are harmonized with EU law.[15]
“The Founders demonstrated in many ways a deeper intellect than that possessed by our current “leaders.”
So true and yet, at the same time, an incredible UNDERstatement. Like saying that Shaq Oneal is a little bigger than a munchkin.
Total Resistance and Martino’s Resistance To Tyranny are both excellent and recommended...
A couple others to look at:
Citizen Soldier-A Manual Of Community Based Defense, by Robert Bradley
Can You Survive? Guidelines For Resistance To Tyranny For You and Your Family, by Robert B. DePugh
The Manual (English Edition), by “Eduardo”
150 Questions For A Guerilla, by General Alberto Bayo
Handbook For Volunteers Of The Irish Republican Army-Notes On Guerilla Warfare
Army FM 31-21 Guerilla Warfare And Special Forces Operations
Not too shabby; a little pricey. And try to avoid solid black; it fluoresces in current night vision devices sort of like dousing yourself in a chem-light stick. That was one of the reasons for the adoption of the current grey-green ACU camo pattern by the Army.
These surplus French CCE vests were a great deal at $15 each but are now unfortunately out of stock. But you might find them still available elsewhere.
My German is a bit rusty. Is it available in English? LOL
Happy New Year.
My German is rusty, as well. Looks like Firearm tactics??
Hope the book is in Engrish ;-)
Don't think so, Lurch. Might be something for me to do in the new year. Or we can get together, and I'll work it out for you. But you really need a cute German barmaid for that.
Literally *firefight and the tactics* the approximate English as we speak it would be *gunfighting and tactics.*
I guess that offer I made to Lurker- the one about working up a translation, not about the barmaid- applies to you too. Stay tuned. And watch for the ProTELL ping list in 2016.
Thanks you. Didn’t know that. I like the idea of being able to configure pouches and etc. as needed.
Yep. Switzerland has their Quislings, just as Norway did during thw Second World War. More about the situation as of 2013 instead of 1999.
More to follow in 2016.
LOL!
Thanks much!
Looking forward to it...the ping list, that is :)
Lightweight for summer, heavy for winter. 2 set up for AK, 2 for AR...and maybe one for a fishing vest.
Nothing cheap about UTG but the price. Some of the ChiCom knockoffs are the same design, but lighter. Wouldn’t trust them for hard use, but maybe for warm weather or fishing. I and several friends have the one pictured. Good stuff. May find different makers...voodoo tactical, others.
Cool. Thanks.
The one that demshateGod linked to has lots of attachment points and should come with a 2-pouch ortion to replace the shown pistol holster.
No problem. If memory serves, Condor makes them too, but they had real problems with the zippers.
