Donald Trump was for the Clintons before he was against them

Hillary Clinton took a seat in the front pew at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida, one of 450 guests on the balmy Saturday night in January 2005 when Donald Trump tied the knot with Melania Knauss, his third (and current) wife. At the reception that followed, Bill Clinton joined his wife, the former first lady who was then serving Trump's home state of New York in the Senate.

Trump now says Clinton had "no choice" but to attend his wedding because he donated money to her campaign. And he's viciously attacking his potential rival for the White House as a liar and a criminal, while dredging up old stories about her husband's zipper problem. But his record of praising both Clintons is voluminous, and seems to go far beyond an attempt to further his business interests.

For instance, the Donald Trump of 2015 says that Bill Clinton has "demonstrated a penchant for sexism" and has a "terrible record of women abuse." Over the years, however, he repeatedly downplayed the importance of the former president's affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

Here I thought Trump was not the same person as Perot. Odd. Come to think of it, I’ve never seen them in the same room. Hmm..

I really don’t think it’s that. At least not here. It is people so beat down by 7 years of Obama and countless years of failures and betrayals by Republicans they helped elect, they have decided to gamble. Doesn’t matter if under normal circumstances they would realize Trump’s rhetoric is not any more trustworthy than Romney’s or even Obama’s. Doesn’t matter if indeed we had Perot in 92, or going back even further the globalists in 1940 put a Democrat in the race masquerading as a Republican to lose to FDR. Doesn’t matter that immediately after leaving the Republican party in 1999, Trump was out there stumping for FAR left positions when he ran for the Reform Party. Doesn’t matter that “Make America Great Again” is a conveniently recycled hope and change from a “hero” who seemingly comes from nowhere to take out the presumed nominee. Doesn’t matter that indeed it is mere bait and switch put in place to get conservatives to bite the hook this time. Republicans voted for the last “hero” in 2008 as well. I personally know several who did. The global elites put these false heroes out there to get people excited, give them false hope so when the time comes they can say, “Where are all your heroes now? Accept our leadership and we shall save you.” It doesn’t matter that there is evidence out there that when Trump took control of his first casino, he was in effect working for the Rockefellers and globalists as that casino financed the CIA and the Mossad. Nothing really matters except the rhetoric and the false belief that some man will be a savior. Finally, it doesn’t matter if up until June of this year they thought Trump was a publicity seeking gasbag. It is all about the hope that maybe one day we can elect someone to save us, and this savior says he is mad at the same things we are- even if his entire life had him being more the problem than the so called savior. It actually kind of hurts to even think about. Some lessons need to be learned the hard way though.

If Hillary brings it up, Trump can say that everyone is allowed at least one mistake.

She took that back and it was part of a divorce case. Ivana now says that THE DONALD will make a GREAT president and she is all for him. No, he isn't a "serial" adulterer at all. He was divorced from Marla when he met and then married his current wife.

OTOH, Regan was an adulterer, but I bet that you still like him. :-)

When your principles are for sale, you'll do anything.

The level of denial on this site regarding the real Donald Trump is truly astonishing.

Anyone remember that California Democrat named Ronald Reagan?

I remember that by the time he ran for President he had served two terms as a conservative governor and delivered "A Time for Choosing", regarded as one of the most important American political speeches of the 20th Century, in support of Barry Goldwater.

Your guy has belonged to three different political parties in the last seven years. There's absolutely no comparison between Donald Trump and Ronald Reagan, who would never have considered giving campaign money to either Hillary Clinton or Rahm Emanuel. But nice try.

I just read your post compring Trump to Perot.

Either you are young, or senile...you couldn’t be more wrong.

Lapping the field?
Trump is getting 35% of REPUBLICAN voters. In the general with Democrats, Independents, Republican and other voters that 35% drops to about 10% or less.
Most Americans cannot stand this man. He has the highest negatives in the field. There is no path for a Trump Presidency. None.
I don’t want my right to own and carry a firearm for self defense to be taken away because some self centered ego maniac decided he wanted to have fun and run for President.
A Hillary Presidency will be a disaster, the end of the USA. Trump is all we have? Really? This is a freaking nightmare.

I remember when Bill Clinton was running for reelection Rush Limbaugh, in his first hour, heaped praise on Bill Clinton and thru his support to him.

Trump himself was bragging about his sexcapades, comparing himself to Bill, saying can you imagine what the press would be reporting about me if I was President?

“Cruz was for TPA before he was against TPP”

Some people seem to not understand the difference between comments and VOTES in the Senate.

I believe that Rush parody ran in 1992, not 1996. People in 1996 were afraid of sour ol’ Dole, as many called the war hero.
