Jerry Lewis criticized President Obama and praised Donald Trump in an interview on World Over with Raymond Arroyo; the iconic comedian also slammed the Syrian refugee program, telling Arroyo "refugees should stay where the hell they are."
"No one has worked harder for the human condition than I have, but theyâre not part of the human condition," Lewis continued. "If 11 guys in the group of 10,000 are ISIS, how can I take the chance? I don't want to lose another Frenchman or another Englishman. That bothers me."
Lewis suggested the United States take a military solution to ISIS. "Why don't we have Germany and Italy and Great Britain, why don't have all of them, including Spain, doing something?" Lewis asked. "Get all of your military together, bring that military to our military and wipe them out."
"They're asking to be stopped, and we're not stopping them, we're just reporting what theyâre doing. Itâs ridiculous," Lewis added.
Lewis criticized Obama for failing to "understand" the threat of ISIS. "He was never prepared for it, and what I'm watching in him is uncertainty." Lewis said. "And you canât have uncertainty in a leader."
Lewis also complimented Donald Trump, telling Arroyo he thinks the Republican frontrunner is "great."
"He's a showman and we've never had a showman in the president's chair," Lewis added.
Watch the video above, via EWTN. Lewis starts talking about the campaign at the 47:18 mark.
For the longest time, I didn’t really like Jerry Lewis. I didn’t like his comedy and thought he was arrogant — that he really believed that he was the King of Comedy. After this, I think I like him - a lot.
If anyone runs into those that like to expouse the WW2 Jewish being turned away. Here is some information. Jewish refugees who were accepted in the UK during that time were put into detention centers. Isle of Man. Churchill was afraid of them being infiltrated by Nazis.
History repeats.
Lewis just went up a notch in my book. He’s now at Notch 1.
He was also Reagan’s Vice President.
bump to the top
He turns 90 today.
Maybe it’s just time for a showman. One who has leadership skills and is totally unafraid. He has the ability to attract to himself and surround himself with people who are the best in their fields. He doesn’t have to know everything. He just has to know how to appoint the right people to get the job done. Who can deny DJT is great at that? (other than the GOPe and Dems who know nothing about that ... all they know is advancing glad-handers)
And in a major way.
