You may have noticed a few festive things going on with Hillary Clinton's social media presence as of late. For one, the arrow crossing her "H" logo has turned green with Christmas lights. It's a sweet, small touch to acknowledge the holiday season. Hillary Clinton's #FBF Christmas photo is even better, though. It's a wonderful blast from the past, showing the former first lady and husband Bill back in their White House days in front of a massive Christmas tree. The photo was taken in 1995 during Bill's first term in office. Each year, the White House Christmas tree has a theme and two decades ago years ago it was "A Visit From St. Nicholas."
Even the tree that gets picked has its own special distinction, typically coming from a tree farm from around the country that is specifically chosen by the National Christmas Tree Association. As decorating the White House for the holiday season is important, so too are holiday photos. Copious shots were taken while the couple lived in the White House. Clinton had a whole lot to choose from and this photo is particularly endearing. A White House photo gallery includes two other photos with the Clintons and daughter, Chelsea, decorating the tree, as well as Clinton in a floor length blue ball gown with her husband in front of the tree.
Clinton's also took it upon herself to record a special holiday message to those who sign up for her text alerts on Friday. She said:
You know, I've always loved the holidays and this year Bill and I are especially looking forward to sharing it with our granddaughter, Charlotte. It's been quite a year. I'm so grateful for your support. from my family to yours, happy holidays, happy new year, and here's to a great 2016!
Unfortunately, all was not merry and bright for the Clintons this holiday season. The home where Bill spent the first decade of his life was extensively damaged by a fire early Christmas morning at 3:20 a.m. Authorities have suspected that the fire was deliberately set and is being investigated as an arson. Smoke and water damage are present throughout the two story home, which was designated a National Historic Site. Visitors were accustomed to stepping inside to the President Bill Clintonâs First Home Museum to get a glimpse of the early life of the 42nd president. The Clintons have yet to issue a statement about the fire.
OMG she is actually wearing a dress??!?!?!
It that the tree the Clintons decorated with rubbers, IUDs and other birth control devices?
"If I am captured, I will continue to resist by all means available. I will make every effort to escape and aid others to escape. I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy." |
So THAT’s how she smuggled the drapes out of the White House
as well as Clinton in a floor length blue ball gown with her husband in front of the tree.
Looks like a red or orange gown to me...though everyone knows there was someone else prowling the corridors in a blue dress in 1995-1996.
Now that, sir, was downright funny.
I’m sure she merely threw the dress on over the pantsuit.
Still have a BARF alert, IMO.
But where is Monica, under the tree waiting for Bill to unwrap her Cohiba?
Just saw typo, oops.
Photo should have a barf alert, IMO.
I’ll bet she sure wishes she still looked like that.
Note: that photo is from 1995.
Yes.
But it is a dress that still covers her 16" circumference cankles.
That was back when she had a full time staff of 64 people dedicated to dealing with her clothes. Times have been tough since those days... but with your vote she may be treated in the manner she deserves once again.
But underneath those billowing yards of material are two grotesque Alley Oop-like cankled leg stumps.
Along with Huma.
Long way to go for William Jefferson Blythe IV
Probably just as well. If a recent photo was featured, it would be a Puke from the Present.
Wow has it been 20 years of the Clinton political Holocaust already? My God, another 8 years of this evil back in the White House...If that doesn’t strike terror into the hearts every last person with a brain, I don’t know what will.
