This is like a primary between U.S. and Russia.

Trump Cruz would be a winning ticket.

Yes, they will battle over the moderates and whichever wins them over will be the nominee.

Trump has the upper hand with moderates now but Cruz is acceptable to them. He just needs to show them that.

I don’t think either one of these two have anything to gain by attacking each other. By now, people are mostly solid in who they support.

They should just keep smacking down the ankle biter GOPe goofballs and work on gaining support from those who haven’t made up their minds.

Cruz has support that is narrow but deep. Trump has support that is wide but shallow. Trump has more potential for growth.

I don’t see where in the article, the headline is based on?

It is as if, this is merely designed to provoke something between the two.

I’ll vote for a double header, Trump-Cruz or Cruz-Trump. America will be great again.

“I think both of them, their campaigns have a natural arc, and with both of them, I think gravity is pulling them down. We’ve seen that. Carson is further in that descent,” Cruz was recorded as saying at a fundraiser in New York”

Trump already is in orbit, Cruz is barely breaking through the clouds.

“Everybody knows Marco's positions,” Rubio spokesman Alex Conant said in a statement.

Yes. Gang of Eight.

Thanks for replacing the quotes and apostrophes. It does make a difference.

Looking up from where Ted “surging” Cruz is I doubt he can even see Trump.

"Right now the Washington establishment is panicking," Cruz said in an interview on Fox News on Monday. "They're confused their golden children are not succeeding in the polls."

No doubt this looks like a political silly season to those inside the Beltway. It's the stuff ear-to-ear smiles are made of.
