Prosecutors: Gun used to kill Officer Sean Collier .
A man who loaned a gun used by the Boston Marathon bombers to kill a police officer was sentenced Tuesday to the 17 months he has already served and apologized, saying his actions were "dumb."
I was young, dumb, and thought I could outsmart everyone," 22-year-old Stephen Silva told a judge in U.S. District Court. He pleaded guilty to gun and heroin distribution charges last year.

“pleaded guilty to gun and heroin distribution charges’
A good chance we’ll hear about this POS again.
Why is this guy not being electrocuted?
Looks like the jury is young, dumb, and thinks it can outsmart everyone. Unless this verdict was handed down by a judge. In which case, there are no words.
because the judge Wolf is a leftist without mercy for the country
But...but ...we need new gun laws (sheesh).
There’s one bright side. Not much of one granted.
The POS judge and his ilk have to live in the Fallout scenario they are creating. And it’s going to bite them in the ass hard when law totally breaks down and the chaos ensues.
Judges will be among the first targets of the criminals looking for revenge. And no one will stand up to protect them.
Oh well.
Exchange for testimony?
The light sentence is a result of his testimony against Dzhokhar Tsarnaev which resulted in a conviction.
His brother applauded the sentence. I guess there’s a family reasoning defect.
I know that essentially he’s getting paid off for his testimony, but the head shaker here is his claim that he loaned the gun out because the dude told him he “just” wanted to use it to stage some hold-ups. The fact that he thinks that’s a good defense is predictive of his future.
We need to get back to making examples of, creating a deterant we need to start following the law.
Obama made this guys release happen. I’m sure of it.
It’s ok, Tsarnev only wanted the gun to rob college students. Maybe we should encourage this activity.
It’s cheaper to sentence guns than people, I suppose the pragmatic, warped leftist argument goes.
If he’s now a felon, he’ll have to have his girlfriend buy his next gun.
Invitation to the White House for a beer summit in 10...9...8...7....
As if his testimony was key to that conviction? Bullhockey, they had all the video evidence they needed to lock them all away. Not to mention the admissions when they found him damned near dead in that boat.
The fact that he thinks thatâs a good defense is predictive of his future.
****
And indicative of his character.
Maybe one of Joker’s homies will off him later for testifying against the mohammedan.
This guy... this POS’s gun was used to murder an MIT policeman. I would have given him minimum 5 years prison time. Plus this moron’s testimony was not central to the case against Joker. This bargain with this moron should have been - “You help us convict or you will get 10 years in prison”
