Schlafly, a pillar of the 20th-century conservative movement whose name is virtually synonymous with conservative philosophy, has endorsed Trump over all of the Establishmentâs âconservativeâ candidates.

Go Trump!
Obviously Phyllis Schlafley is a closet liberal who hates the Constitution.
/do I need it?
Her instincts made it at least 91 years without error. Obama’s flunked potty training, the [expletive] leaves sh*t everywhere.
I have to second that emotion. Those two votes were head shakers for me.
Pillar she was but pillar no more. Schlafly loses my trust and respect with this endorsement. The TEA party has already lost me thanks to the two chicks who are always on TV screeching about Donald this and Donald that. The GOPe would probably take me in, but I don’t have any use for them. I guess I’m just an old Reagan conservative throwback whose time has expired for working toward conservative causes.
She picked him because the establishment needs to go. Politics is bloodsport.
You have to win to do anything.
You should Google her. You and the rest of the country have been served well by her defeat of the ERA.
Yep. And the reverse is also true. Last time around, FR was overrun with Perrybots and then Newt fans, but Schlafly endorsed Michelle Bachmann and then switched to Santorum after Bachmann dropped out. Since she didn't endorse THEIR guy, numerous FReepers argued in 2012 that she was a has-been and "her opinion doesn't matter": http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2817087/posts
Wow, somehow people are not finding multiple existing threads before they post.
YIKES !
has cruz won any of his senate floor “battles”? filibuster etc...
I am cautious around lawyers trained to “manage” their clients. Is he leading or lawyering? always a question.

From Hot Air by Allahpundit:
Is there any message Trump could use to stop Cruz? Thereâs a pretty strong one, in fact. Itâs one that undercuts Cruzâs central appeal as an âoutsiderâ while reinforcing Trumpâs central appeal as a right-wing populist. It portrays Cruz as another double-dealing politician and Trump as the guy who âtells it like it is,â so to speak, and it pits Cruz as a representative of the elite, coastal Republican class against which Trumpâs campaign has sparked a working-class rebellion.
Obviously Phyllis is smarter than you had imagined.
Her endorsement is one of the few that I take seriously.
