Donald Trump, a candidate even Republicans once considered a side show, increases his lead yet again in the nomination race, according to the latest Fox News national poll.
The poll also finds Ted Cruz ticking up, Marco Rubio slipping, and Ben Carson dropping.
Trump hits a high of 39 percent among Republican primary voters, up from 28 percent a month ago. The increase comes mainly from men, white evangelical Christians, and voters without a college degree -- and at the expense of Carson. ...
The favorites among white evangelical Christians are Trump (39 percent), Cruz (26 percent) and Carson (12 percent). Since last month, Trump is up 14 points among this group, Cruz is up 8 and Carson is down 12.

Steve Hayes has been hating on Trump for months.
It was either Rush or Levin who made a remark about Hayes today. Yeah, Hayes is one of those guys who has a very bad case of TDS.
Hayes surprised me ear 9 this year by fully supporting gay marriage. He’d always seemed a conservative. I’m betting now he supports abortion too.
Cruz is actually leading RCP average in Iowa. If he wins in Iowa he generates the headlines and even more momentum. We will see I guess. Not too long to good now.
As for head to heads with Hilary Clinton, Cruz is only losing to Hilary Clinton by 3 points in the NBC poll which is well within the margin of error, and is TIED with Hilary Clinton in the Fox News poll.
Trump on the other hand is losing by a huge 10 points in the NBC and 11 points in the Fox News poll. Quite a bit of difference.
Hayes has shown he doesn’t mind looking a fool when it comes to Trump. Hell even Krauthammer is facing reality.
You are right about one thing, we will see. But I don’t put much stock in caucuses. I’ve been saying Iowa is overblown for about 30 years now, so I’m not just saying this because of the current poll. NH is also overblown, but at least it’s a real primary.
You have a pic of Cruz and Paul Ryan together? I hear they both liked Obama’s TPA.
Cruz tied with Hilary Clinton at 45% each. Trump losing to Hilary Clinton by 49 to 38
That surprised me too.
What’s the date of that pic?
You might want to educate yourself on what tactics are used ‘in Washington’ to expose the establishment for what they are....and turn their tactics against them.
I trust none of them with the lone exception of Mr. Trump! GO!
Well, if yours was a tongue-in-cheek reply between friends, I apologize for butting in! :-)
“I donât trust those Clinton vs. Trump polls - theyâre just another way for the media to try and sour us on our own candidate. Didnât one of them say that Rubio, of all people, would beat her - where Trump and Cruz wouldnât? Just nonsense.”
For starters, Trump has been POUNDED non-stop by the media - I’d expect him to not hold up well against Hillary. Rubio/Bush and other RINOs have NOT been pounded, so when polled against Hillary, what is really going on is that it’s a referendum on Hillary, as the RINOs are barely known by the public at large (today).
But should one of them RINOs actually become the candidate, they will be TOTALLY TRASHED by the media and will be lucky to hold a candle to Trump’s numbers. Just think of McCain in 2008...he was our BEST CANDIDATE, loved by the media and worked great with the other side. But once he was the nominee, he was TREATED LIKE DIRT by the media and went on to get demolished.
Who gives a shit? Trump is one of the riches men in the world, of course he has connections in high places. You guys and your petty and gossipy crap, your like children. And you completely ignore the earth shattering stuff like TPA and the Iran deal. When this country falls, it will be because of unserious people like you.
Profound
Amen to that.
