Stands to reason that stretch of Dixie Hwy is replete with Drug dealers, pimps, prostitutes and an assortment of other criminal thugs, a multitude of obama’s son’s and daughters strive and/or thrive there.
Hope they had the foresight to keep a good supply of replacement signs.
The really hilarious thing is, they named it after a mostly white guy. LMAO.
Actually..most cities have a grace period of at least 5 years after the person’s passing before they name a street, building etc. That way if the passion for the person is still strong, then the name change would be proper. Also, if the living person commits a crime or does something dishonorable, the street would not have to be renamed..my two cents..

Old Dixie Highway is an important name that goes back to the beginnings of highways in Florida. It goes through many coastal towns and cities, and this will break that connection.

I was going to ask is “President Obama Highway” would have the same meaning as “Martin Luther King Blvd” - If you value your life, get away from this area ASAP!
