If anyone needed more evidence of why the American people are suffering at the hands of their own government, look no further than the budget deal announced by Speaker Ryan. In order to avoid a government shutdown, a cowardly threat from an incompetent President, the elected Republicans in Congress threw in the towel and showed absolutely no budget discipline.
The American people will have to absorb higher deficits, greater debt, less economic liberty and more corporate welfare. Congress cannot seem to help itself in bending to every whim of special interests. How can they face their constituents when they continue to burden our children and grandchildren with debts they will never be able to repay? Our government is failing us, so we must do something about it. Who knows how bad things will be when the next administration comes in and has to pick up the pieces?
The only special interest not being served by our government is the American people. It is time we imposed budget discipline by holding the line on spending, getting rid of waste, fraud and abuse, and by taking on our debt. To do these things, we need a President who can lead the fight to hold Congress and the rest of government accountable. Together, we can Make America Great Again." atDonald J. Trump
The last shutdown won’ t be the last.
The American people will have to absorb higher deficits, greater debt, less economic liberty and more corporate welfare. That's from the man who, during the presidential candidates' debate the other night, said: n my opinion, we've spent $4 trillion trying to topple various people that frankly, if they were there and if we could've spent that $4 trillion in the United States to fix our roads, our bridges, and all of the other problems; our airports and all of the other problems we've had, we would've been a lot better off. I can tell you that right now . . . I wish we had the $4 trillion or $5 trillion. I wish it were spent right here in the United States, on our schools, hospitals, roads, airports, and everything else that are all falling apart..
We can’t spare this man. He fights!
Make a great tag line.
He’s not only providing excellent presentations at rallies, he’s actually growing and showing no signs of slipping back into his pre-run mindset.
Each day the guy impresses with more insight than some of our current political shining stars.
He is the only guy I have seen mention 30 million instead of 11 million illegals. The other guys talk about it repeating a figure that was valid shortly after 2000, and they think they’re right on top of things.
He is. They aren’t.
He’s sharp as a tack. He’s got one of those minds that hears things and he retains it. Then he incorporates into his core beliefs system.
I think he has pretty good gut instincts for going the right direction off the top of his head.
He’s miles ahead of George Bush the day Bush left office.
Don't care if Limbaugh takes credit. Trump had the balls to say it as a candidate. For that, I thank Trump.
It was an idiotic thing to say.
Could you imagine what our country would be like if Rush had never been on the air?
Then why are you here?
Well, The Donald is certainly no Constitutional scholar nor adherent.Which is, of course, the number one reason to beware a Trump nomination, never mind a Trump presidency.
If this Republican Congress had half a clue, I would be for it.
Sadly, it’s got about 0.10% of a clue.
It didn’t sound to me like he was in favor of wind energy, when someone asked him that question. He said the towers cost so much to build that it requires subsidies, so it seems he doesn’t favor them.
He fought them, at one point, but that might have been a business interest only.
It’s just too hard to play hardball with a sponge.
I don’t care either. Trump is taking Rush’s advice. That’s a good thing.
Even if he had mentioned subsidies (he didn’t), a subsidy to a corporation is NOT a cash grant, it is a tax credit MEANING less taxes on corporations and less revenue to the piggy trough in DC.
I’m totally good with that.
A very powerful sentence which should get the attention of every American who’s become the result of this government’s reckless destructive domestic and foreign policies.
Keep telling yourself that, you’re still OK with mandating the use of ethanol which is forcing you to buy and use a product.
