The Republican Party Must Defeat Trump Now
Politico ^ | December 16, 2015 | Christine Todd Whitman

Posted on 12/17/2015 5:25:01 AM PST by detective

Every few generations a political party has to define itself. Now is that moment for the Republican Party. Until recently the GOP has been seen in Washington as the "party of no." Now it is being defined as the party of extreme. While the U.S. may be yearning for definitive leadership from a president, the use of hate and fear tactics by so many of the GOP presidential candidates is not the answer.

These establishment republicans just don’t want to see it- we have HAD IT with them.

They dems are big government socialists, and the GOP has not stopped them.

If Trump were to go third party, i would go with him.

I am a Ted Cruz guy, but Trump is exactly what the country needs right now. He is DESTROYING the MSMedia, the Democrats, GOP traitors and Political Correctness itself in a way NO OTHER CANDIDATE could possibly hope to.
Besides, the bar has been so lowered as to what it takes to get elected President that we really have nothing to lose.

Trump is a once in a lifetime opportunity to shake the Establishment to the core without using any ammunition in the process...

Simply stated, Trump must defeat both the RNC and DNC. Because the RNC and DNC held a virtual lock on how we are governed, and they have both lied to their supporters, Trump just has to run against both political parties.

Christie Todd Whitman is the worst.

The word RINO was invented to describe her.

She was even worse than Christie as a governor. She was a completely ineffectual sellout. A Dem in R clothing.

She needs to stay retired in her big mansion.

Carly Fiorina is a raving beauty compared to this long nosed geekette.

Trump is our only hope to defeat things like this omnibus bill.

2016 is for all the marbles.

I think Christine Todd Whitman and other Republicans will support Hillary Clinton in the presidential elections.

Undeniably true. Loyalty oaths are a one-way street with this dishonorable bunch.

In her opinion piece, Whitman actually likens Trump to Mussolini and Hitler. And who’s calling who extremist?

Probably our last hope using peaceful methods.

Well, well. Look who Politico dredged up out of obscurity again to slam her own party. If it wasn’t for slamming Republicans, Christie wouldn’t ever be in the news any more.

"At some time in the near future, a third party will rise

A third party is rising right now. If Trump is the GOP nominee the republican party will never be the same.

It is up to the American people, and NOT a political party,
to decide who they will elect for their President. - I
like Cruz at this point, but if TRUMP is nominated; I will
hope he selects Cruz as his running mate. In any event, I
will crawl over rough gravel for miles to get to the polls
on election day and vote for TRUMP, or CRUZ, or who ever;
but NO MORE DAMN RINOS!

Heard John McNuts on Neil Cavuto’s show yesterday and McNuts said the winner of Tuesday nights debate was, wait for it, wait for it, Linda Grahamnesty! Pertenear wrecked my vehicle! McNuts was on Cavuto for whatever reason and all he did was campaign for Grahamnesty. Two absolute fools: McNuts & Grahamnesty!

If Trump doesn’t win, then America as we know it and have known it is done. But lately I’ve been thinking about just how unlikely it is that he will win. The reasons are chilling.

For every Trump supporter, for every American who realizes what the Obama regime has done to this country, for every Liberal leaning RINO who sees the light and listens to the groundswell of his constituents who are demanding change, there is an overwhelming and most likely insurmountable advantage that Democrats have in the coming Presidential election.

Hundreds of thousands of foreigners have been imported, allowed, vetted, or otherwise installed all over this nation. If the truth be known; they have probably been strategically placed by the Obama regime to have the most impact on the coming election.

That they have no legal status means little or nothing. The millions that do have it will vote Democrat. The hundreds of thousands that don’t will have little problem gaining access to our voting system. A forged document or two, a driver’s license and they’re in. Anyone who thinks that our system of validation will keep them out isn’t paying attention.

So it’s entirely possible in my estimation, that even discounting RINOs who will do anything to stop Trump, that the coming Presidential election won’t be decided by Americans at all and that we’re past the point where it ever will be again. I’m wondering; what then? Are we just going to sit down and wait for the same fate that’s befallen other nations in our predicament? I suspect that there are many who won’t accept that fate even if it means a fight in the most literal meaning of the word.

Now we need William Weld, that old “libertarian” dead head Rino, to join his friend, Christine, and get hysterical about conservatives. I read about Weld and Christine protesting the GOP convention in a liberal media frenzy, because the platform was pro-life.

Joe Scarborugh suggests Bloomberg might run against Trump so Hillary can win. He’s an independent - severely elitist and disrespectful of freedom and voters/citizens. Leave it to the Rinos to keep the power in their corrupt hands at all costs.
