FORT COLLINS - New Belgium Brewing has joined forces with Ben & Jerry's to donate $100,000 to a California-based nonprofit that works to mobilize the snow-sports community to battle climate change.
The two "B-corp" companies, Fort Collins-based New Belgium and South Burlington, Vt.-based Ben & Jerry's, partnered to create a special beer and ice cream, with a portion of their proceeds going to Pacific Palisades, Calif.-based Protect Our Winters. The companies presented the check to POW on Friday during a celebration at Stoney's Bar and Grill in Denver.

Ben and Jerry’s has always been run by nut jobs INMHO. I would never think of going into one of their stores.
I rarely eat ice cream. :(
Yup, brews beer and freezes sweet cream.
Natural scientists, they are.

Visited the place about three weeks to a month ago - it was crawling with Sanders supporters. They’re so easy to point out.
New Belgium’s flagship is Fat Tire, or at least used to be. They have several varieties now and some are pretty good.
I’m a craft beer snob but haven’t drank any of their stuff in quit a while.
As far as Ben & Jerry’s, never tried it and never will. Just a bunch of loonies if you ask me.
They can donate all they wish. They will still lose. Almighty God is in charge of climate change. You fight climate change, you fight God and still lose. What it will get you is a vacation trip to Hell for eternity. If I had any advice for Ben and Jerry [which I don’t] It would be: Enjoy your pleasures now, when you leave this World, your pleasures will be few and few and far between.
:: no ale please (tastes like shit.) ::
And you recognize that “taste” because of personal experience?

New Belgium? So long, Fat Tire.
They just elated their cult-of-personality fans and got coast-to-coast media coverage for $100k. Those fat hippies are clever geniuses at marketing.
How do they cool their ice cream? Must be a secret weapon we don’t know about yet.
Yes, I know who they are now. I’ve had Fat Tire and the 1554 dark beer. They’re very good, but I’m not touching them now.
There’s a real Budweiser? As opposed to the mass-produced, light-yellow, cardboard tasting stuff that infests liquor store coolers?

Never skunky, there’s a reason it was number one before stores and bars started catering to chicks and craft beer snobs.
