House Democrats Introduce Bill to Ban Manufacture of ‘Assault Weapons'

On December 16, Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI) will introduce the "Assault Weapons Ban of 2015" to ban all manufacturing of "assault weapons."

Besides banning the manufacturing of AR-15s and related firearms, the ban would put in place "new restrictions on the sale of already existing assault weapons."

According to The Hill, Cicilline said, "Assault weapons are designed for the sole purpose of killing as many people as quickly as possible. We need to do everything we can to reduce the toll of gun violence by keeping these weapons out of our communities."

Was there really a need to note that this assclown was a "d"? Proof positive that you don't have to have any understanding of the constitution to win an all expense paid trip to d.c. Just make promises to folks who buy your crap and viola. No need to keep the promise, just reassure people that you'll "re-double" your efforts next time around.

Then there is Pat Toomey, a Republican, who along with Democrat Joe Manchin, came up with that “bipartisan common sense gun control bill” that mercifully was defeated.

Yes, Dems are the prime movers on gun confiscation, but I wouldn't trust the Republicans to fight against any effort to trash the Second Amendment.
