Sen. Ted Cruz and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker were battling on the presidential campaign trail just a few months ago, but now, Cruz is asking people to help Walker retire the debt he accumulated during his failed campaign.

Walker's campaign has repeatedly asked for donations in the nearly three months since it ended. Earlier this month, the campaign sent out a fundraising pitch from Keith Gilkes, who managed Walker's 2012 recall victory and directed a super PAC supporting the governor's presidential campaign.
"He needs your help today to end our 'Walker for America' campaign in the black and I urge you to respond with your usual generosity," Gilkes wrote in the fundraising email. "What our rivals don't understand about Governor Scott Walker is that he is a driven, movement conservative who never quits. They underestimate him. Just as Governor Walker is convinced that America's best days are ahead, I am convinced that his best days as a conservative leader are ahead of him."
Before quitting the 2016 race, the Walker campaign paid 15 staffers at a rate exceeding a $100,000 annual salary, and it paid another 15 staffers at a rate equivalent to $50,000 to $90,000 per year.
But sure.....I'll send money....not....
I got the feeling through Walker's campaign that I never knew who he is and where he stood on prime issues like cheap foreign labor.
Before it was Cruz or Trump it was Cruz or Walker. I am glad that the Senator is supporting this fine governor.
Send money to pay off my failed loser campaign staff.
Ping!
Strange behavior for someone who wants conservatives’
votes. OTOH, Cruz supported ObamaTRADE because he
could hide behind a second vote, and then behind
close doors he attacked Mr. Trump, and now here
he shows he wants the support of ... George Will.
Cruz supports conservative fellow travelers. It is classy and refreshing! Such graciousness and support shows that for Cruz it is about conservatism more than personal glory.
If you can’t run your own campaign, how can you run a country?
Walker would make a great Secretary of Labor.
How about a “help Walker finish college” fund?
This guy is the sharpest candidate I’ve ever had the pleasure of supporting.
Cruz is a class act.
Are you really going to bring up that discredited, leftist talking point?
> Walker would make a great Secretary of Labor.
Heck yes!
But, then again, in today's world I am not sure what a conservative is.
From the rhetoric I hear I am inclined to see today's conservatives to the left of Hubert Humphrey and Eugene McCarthy. I also see today's liberals to the left of Leon Trotsky, Vladimir Lenis and Joseph Engels.
anyone listening to rush.
Trumpees will be posting rush is GOPE - yeah, freepers have already done that.
I love it. Of course I knew Rush felt like me.
I concur. He helps those who can’t really help him.
Nuts to Walker.
So Cruz wants other to pay for Walker’s debts???
Bernie Sanders would be proud!!
