Looks like they surveyed the part of the country in between the Pacific and Atlantic again, eh?
I will track down a direct link to the poll.
But what about IOWA? ;)
When Republicans and Republican-leaning voters are asked who they would support for the GOP nomination for president, Donald Trump leads the pack at 41%. Ted Cruz (14%), Marco Rubio (10%), and Ben Carson (9%) are far behind. All of the other ten candidates tested poll in the low single digits, including Jeb Bush (3%), John Kasich (3%), Chris Christie (2%), Carly Fiorina (2%), Mike Huckabee (2%), and Rand Paul (2%). All but Huckabee have been invited to the main stage for tomorrow's debate.
I have heard on EVERY SINGLE news station today that Hillary would beat Trump and Cruz but, Rubio would beat Hillary if elections were held today.
I tend to shy away from polls that show Trump at 40% plus. A few have but polls can be gamed high too prior to creating a big fall scenario.
It’s an interesting number to be sure.
If other polls move in this direction, I’ll feel more comfortable with it.
Just wait until people hear that he wants to build a wall on the Mexican boarder and send all the illegals home. His support will surely collapse! /sarc
Monmouth had Carson ahead a few weeks ago.
Last week they had Cruz pulling ahead.
Another week, another bunch of meaningless polls.

Another morning poll has Hillary beating everyone but Rubio. LOL Rubio is running a distant 3rd or 4th in most other polls — be he is going to beat Hillary?
Yeah, right.
Hillary facing Rubio in presidential debates reminds me of Hillary taking down Rick Lazio.
This is pretty surprising. I didn’t like the Iowa poll showing Cruz up by 10, and I don’t like this national poll showing Trump up by 27.
Outlier? Bad polling structure? Or is the race really this fluid?
Will wait to see a few more polls before deciding.
Republicans set to win Suckers of the Century Award.
The more the GOPe and DEMOgoguebureauCRATS hate him, the better he looks.
TRUMP/CRUZ!
41% Trump
14% Cruz
WOW that’s going to change some real clear politics number averages
Let slip in an uncooked poll? It must have pained Monmouth U. to report this. Add 10% more for Trump to cover for lib bias. :-)

Trump up by 27 points!!!
Lol when Monmouth came out with a Poll in Iowa saying that Cruz is beating Trump all the Trumpnites jumped on and said Monmouth polls don’t count! =)
Just saying...
