Evening, Kathy! Happy last night of Hanukkah!
One day at a time....we seem to be experiencing some memory problems. I’m gonna have to work on more patience than I’m already working on. d:o)
Is your weather still nice? We had almost 5" of snow. Now we should have a white Christmas.
Weather here has been in the 60s, unbelievably. With a little luck, I can wait till the January sales to buy a new coat.
Wishing you good luck on waiting til January sales. Sounds like a great plan to me.
((HUGS))Good morning, Ladies. Thanks for this morning's thread, Star. How's it going?
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...hope you and Bo get to go hunting today.
Happy Monday!
We had a great time out there yesterday. It's was in the 40's and I wore two covers of clothing to keep me warm during the visit.
Good morning, Canteen. Good morning to our
AWESOME
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Star, for preparing the Canteen
for today"s activities.
We had a good weekend:
one young granddaughter hung out with us on Saturday
while her dad ran errands; then, yesterday,
we had breakfast with her and her daddy (he cooked),
after which I aided him in his first attempt
to make his Nanny's cheese bread from scratch.
The recipe is several years old,
and we never watched her make it,
so we were depending on deciphering the written instructions.
By the time we had it in the bowl to rise,
I had enough time to run home, put together a few items
to take back for the game.
When I got back, we did the last part and put dough in pans,
popped in the oven to bake while we watched the Skins game.
In case any one is wondering: no,
they were not exactly like his Nanny's cheese bread,
but they were not bad for his first attempt.
We are going to work on simplifying the steps.
Time for me to make my rounds
before I have to get dressed and head out for a hair cut.
Please stick around and visit
with the military and/or family members.
That's what we're here for.
The FR Canteen is
Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

((HUGS))Good morning, Beach. How’s it going?
A little needle...
A Little thread...
BINGO!
Lynn-Dah seems to love walks on the beach, and sleeps in front of the radiator as if it’s a fireplace...LOL.
Good morning EG ((HUGS))
All is well; finishing up breakfast and will soon get ready to get on the road.
How was your weekend?
Good morning Western Phil.
Thank you for sharing that interesting piece of history, in which your family participated.
We were actually able to sleep through Saturday night without the storm alarm going off. The bad storms were down in Texas.
It did cool off some. I wore two rounds of clothing out at the lake on Sunday.
Well, it sounds like you had a grand and fun weekend!
I lazed out and didn't do the shopping I was supposed to do, so this week I better get it done.
I spent some time yesterday visiting my boy, however he was still finishing up some term papers so I didn't stay long.
OK, more coffee for me and then face the day!
Have a funomenal Monday!
((HUGS))Good morning, LUV W. How’s it going?
Yep! That’s an AZ Christmas as Cowboy! LOL
