Trump To Republicans: 'I'm Sorry I Did This To You'
Talking Points Memo ^
Posted on 12/13/2015 12:55:28 PM PST by springwater13
Trump said in the interview with Fox News' Chris Wallace that he was "sorry" to the Republican leaders.
"Look, I understand what they're going through. I wasn't supposed to be here. I was a member of the establishment seven months ago," Trump said. "Iâm not supposed to be doing this. You see Iâm supposed to be on the other side writing checks and having people do whatever I want, puppets, like puppets."
Wallace asked Trump what his response was to the GOP officials.
"I say, folks, you know, Iâm sorry I did this to you, but you've got to get used to it," Trump said. "It's one of those little problems in life."

I can almost hear the rolled-up newspaper hitting them at the end of the quote.

Trump: I saw McCain lose then I saw Romney lose. Thought I’d better do this myself.

Yes, he was a crony capitalist cashing in on his connections until he decided he’s become president. Then, he decided he could do it best by pretending to be a conservative.

Trump's not sorry. That's his way of saying...I'm here, get used to it.
It's a whole new ballgame and the establishment has become wobbly at best.
Jeb guarantees Trump will not be the nominee?
Hey, Jeb...most of America thinks you are a putz...what's your guarantee on that.
Trump's gonna win because Trump has already won.

Did chris wallace at least have the humanity to laugh or chuckle in response? Trump is hillarious while simultaneously revealing the truth.

Everyone knows Trump isn’t sorry. It’s an absolutely hilarious non-apology that only Trump could deliver! lol

I have that problem, too. Where’s my rich and famous?

Another reason why I love Trump. He completely punked the GOP establishment and we should all thank him for that.

Pretending to accept your premise here, which I don't, at least Trump did it out in the open for all to see rather then in smoke filled back rooms for a seat at the table and campaign donations.

I want a candidate who will say that to Hillary after he/she defeats her!
