Trumps stand on immigration is not anti-Christian. It’s just plain common sense to want to preserve our culture and keep us secure. However there will be many Christians that buy into this. I can think of three categories:
1. The variety that being merciful and benevolent to the poor is a Christian value.
2. Lutherans bringing muzzies in from Somalia in.
3. The hard left that actually go to Church. I can think of several. We have very diehard leftist Catholics right down the street.
But I believe they are a minority as a whole.
Not surprisingly, Chris has (what are they called, `followers’?) in John Boehner and Jeb Bush, and he’s a big Pope Frank fan. It looks like he’s a NWO kind of guy.

As if Time has ever shown any knowledge or sympathy to Christianity
“Oh yes, Jesus would have LOVED Muslims.”
I am assuming you are being sarcastic...if not forgive.
Jesus Christ most assuredly “loves” Muslims the same way he loves you and me. He loves us in spite of our sin of unbelief and is ready to save those who will turn to Him in repentance and belief. That includes all mankind....but it does require believing He is who He said He was/is (God in human form). If you, me, or a “Muslim” will turn in Faith to Jesus, he will save us.
Now does the Lord Jesus approve of what the Muslims are doing -following a false prophet in unbelief of the truth, or for that matter anyone’s unbelief? NO, most certainly not. Muslims are just another group of lost sinners...as are a great many of unbelieving persons in this country.
Jesus Christ came to SAVE that which is lost. Muslims are lost, as are any unbeliever. But HE does love them and desires their repentance.
Now, one more thing. Is the writer of this article off base. Yes, because his theology is off. That does not change the fact that “all we like sheep have gone astray.” Jesus desires to save those lost sheep.
“For while we were still helpless, at the appointed moment, Christ died for the ungodly. For rarely will someone die for a just person - though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die. But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us!” Romans Chapter 5 verses 6-8
Spoken like a true fan of strawberries & ball bearings.
Islam is not a religion. Refusing to allow muslime immigration is on par with barring anarchists, communists, or Nazis.
This is Alinski tactics. Using your oppositions morality and rules to get what you want. Done with all the tact of using a sledge hammer as a fly swatter. I will bet the author considers himself to be quite the clever little revolutionary.
Islam knows no other way than eradication of the infidel.
I am sure that if it boiled down to the last handful of Christians and he was one of them, he too would have stood up for preservation and hope for mankind.
Like Time gives a rip about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Hint to Time: The gospel does not require the world to sit still for Islamic jihad.
He has to enforce it. How will Trump do that?
Of course, TIME has a long history of being a strong supporter of Christianity.
The media keeps digging their hole deeper.
2016 may become a grand slam when Trump becomes President, leftist politicians get clobbered, and the mainstream media goes bankrupt because no one listens to them anyone more.
The National Guard would be my best guess.
Christian compassion is what our enemy will exploit to try and destroy us. All our enemies... Foreign and Domestic.
I was shocked to read this story in TIME. I had no idea TIME was still in existence.
Hey, tell the one about where it says if a man won't work he shouldn't eat.
Doing what? Fortifying airports?
Of course it's not about the religion, stupid [not you Yongin, Hale], it's about the terrorism that has taken over the religion. As everyone should know, Islam is a religion of peace, right?
Okay .. mister smarty-pants .. why don’t you tell me what Trump should do .. as you seem to be trying to do that anyway by being snotty to me.
Go for it!
I wonder why Time thinks their definition of Christian is valid in any way.
