First of all, there really was NO ROOM at the end. That’s just a simple fact. I’ve never seen the inn keeper condemned.
Second, there is NO ROOM in America for people who want to kill us.
Residents of thirty eight countries don't require visas to enter the U.S., That includes France, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany and many other countries with significant Muslim populations. So most of those responsible for the Paris massacres could enter the U.S. without any background check.
But every non-citizen arriving at the US border can be denied admission for a long list of reasons, including having a communicable diseases, people with physical or mental disorders that may cause harm to themselves or others, drug abusers or addicts, drug traffickers, people without proper vaccinations, people with convictions for crimes involving moral turpitude, people who have violated immigration laws, prostitutes, people with multiple criminal convictions, spies, terrorists, Nazis, and people likely to become dependent on need-based government assistance.
That list can be easily expanded to include other classes of people, since admission to the USA for non-citizens is not a right.
Your statement that the Paris terrorists could enter the US without a background check is incorrect, supposedly CIS is checking for spies, terrorists, etc. and people known to be traveling to Syria from Europe, and already on various European terror watch lists should be flagged on that basis. Of course as recent events have shown the quality of government background checking is abysmal.
