Another thing I find strange: they call everyone Mr. And Ms. Why? In this day of far less titles, and of gender bending, why is the NYT careful to document both gender and title? I don’t think terrorists deserve titles.

Mariya is an interesting person, as is her sister Tatiana. I wonder where in Russia exactly they are from. Two months before she ‘married’ Marquez, “Maria Romero” was shacked up with one Oscar Romero and posing with their baby girl on social media while also selling cell phone covers from a kiosk owned by Tatiana at a local mall.
