I assume that by “bullets” they mean rounds/cartridges. Never expect a reporter to get ANYTHING right when it comes to firearms.

Police also found recordings of religious chants "glorifying the martyrs of jihad linked to the terrorist organisation Jabhat al-Nusra", the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda, the prefecture added

Just poor, helpless refugeez.

“I was not aware Kalashnikov Concern manufactured ammunition.”

Evidently, it does.

No kidding. I have lots of bullets that I haven't loaded into cartridge cases yet.

Maybe they are for the very rare RUGER bolt action rifle I saw twenty five years ago. If I had not had one foot in the grave I would have bought it.

The only ammo listed is the “Krasnopol” guided shell. I don’t think they manufacture ammo for their rifles.

So, after you do you'll be loading them into high capacity "clips"? har har

If they outlaw high capacity "clips", I know I don't have to worry about breaking the law. LOL

I’m not a big fan of bolt action, but if you’ve had an experience with one and it reminds you of a time in your life, I can see the attraction.

At any rate, back to the subject at hand. I think they mentioned the Kalashnikov because they thought the public would recognize it as one of those automation sub-machine weapons of war.

They wanted to play off that to play on the minds of the public.

Kalashnikov may have made some ammunition over the years. That’s above my pay grade.

I didn't know that the Paris terrorists used belt-fed weapons.

No. I’m sure they found small, slightly elongated chucks of lead with the Kalashnikov logo stamped on them.

Perhaps this is better:

Police uncovered massive stash of 7.62mm Kalashnikov ammunition and ISIS propaganda videos.

At least 334 weapons were confiscated and 232 Muslims were arrested

Yup. Journalists who have no clue about firearms should not write articles about guns and ammo. They lose credibility when they refer to bullets, clips and casings.
