Maybe they are for the very rare RUGER bolt action rifle I saw twenty five years ago. If I had not had one foot in the grave I would have bought it.
I’m not a big fan of bolt action, but if you’ve had an experience with one and it reminds you of a time in your life, I can see the attraction.
At any rate, back to the subject at hand. I think they mentioned the Kalashnikov because they thought the public would recognize it as one of those automation sub-machine weapons of war.
They wanted to play off that to play on the minds of the public.
Kalashnikov may have made some ammunition over the years. That’s above my pay grade.
