Uwe and Hannelore Romeike came to the United States in 2008 seeking political asylum. They fled their German homeland in the face of religious persecution for homeschooling their children.
They wanted to live in a country where they could raise their children in accordance with their Christian beliefs.
The Romeikes were initially given asylum, but the Obama administration objected – claiming that German laws that outlaw homeschooling do not constitute persecution.

Think about it: every action since he began occupying the Oval Office has been to denigrate or harm one or more of those institutions.
This is abominable. For people constantly searching for reasons to scream and agitate about racism, bigotry, or religious persecution here in the USA, here you go. This Christian family came here seeking asylum from a government that was persecuting them and now this administration is deporting them. I guess being white, blonde and Christian just doesn’t cut it with that crowd.
Paging Donald Trump-- paging Ted Cruz. If Barry starts the deport proceedings this will be hot fodder campaign rally fuel to use against the evil leftists.
