POWER RANKINGS: Cruz in Control
Washington Examiner ^ | 12/8/15 | POWER RANKINGS

Posted on 12/08/2015 11:48:31 AM PST by Isara

We're past the point in the race where national polls tell us much. Ted Cruz's surge has landed him in first place in one Iowa poll, tied in another, and second place in a third.

Cruz and Donald Trump atop the polls has got to cause a heart attack in the GOP establishment - and that's good news for Rubio, who is the most natural candidate for the party elite to unite behind.

With less than two months until Iowa, here's who matters most in the race for the nomination.

Going back to my days at community college, I do a 1st and 2nd choice, Trump and Cruz. Meaning, if you can not get the first choice course, sign up for the second.

Next year is going to be a very important year election-wise. Make the right choices.

Hahahaha. What a joke! Trump reeking of desperation? I don’t think so. Christie 4th? Jeb making this a 5 person race?? I can’t stop laughing. Thanks for posting Levin’s bogus ratings for the 5,000th time.

Not really.

If it looks like Rubio is even getting close, one ad will do him in:

The opposition could even run the video of Rubio saying he was tired of being a senator.

I like that sticker. A neighbor of mine noticed my Trump sticker and told me he was a Cruz voter. I have since removed my Trump sticker and look forward to supporting Ted.

I really like Trump on the issues,(and much the same with Cruz of course), but I feel like Trump has let his tone become the issue now.

Ted is really sounding temperamental and presidential. His rise in the polls could be the ticket to the White House.

I just hope Trump knows when to back down.

Trump isn’t going to back down. He leads, and I don’t want to lose with a guy who cannot win the general election.

Yeah, don't pay attention to any of those other polls out there, this one Iowa poll was the only accurate poll in the nation.

Speaking of desperation...

Who writes this stuff, Baghdad Bob, Wiley Coyote?

I’m supporting Cruz, but Trump benefits from his courageous statement regarding Mohammedans.

I agree on all accounts. Cruz is a truly conservative leader. It’s nice to have a real conservative to be able to support.

The examiner is quite anti-Trump. I noticed that in their articles.
