To avoid damage to your car when you park with a Cruz or Trump bumper sticker, here is what I have done.
At the link is soft magnetic material that will safely adhere to your car's metal. You can cut to size.
In previous election cycles, I have attached bumper stickers from the campaigns and made my own. The ones that I printed were covered with think clear tape to survive the weather.
One car I had several years ago probably had a dozen messages, including NEVER TRUST DEMOCRATS WITH NATIONAL SECURITY.
Our side values private property. While demonstrating, we do not typically use foul language or gestures, do not break windows, throw bricks, or defecate or urinate in the street. And we don't damage cars because of an opposing bumper sticker. We mock them. They do actual damage.
When you park and are away from your car, simply take off your messages. It only takes a few seconds and this material does not damage your car.
If you have a FU BARACK OBABA sticker and go to the mall, good luck coming out unscathed. This way, you can put on any message and really piss them off.
CAVEAT: I have had people both honk and flip me off while driving, including by little kids at the direction of their useless parents. So, you may want to consider being armed just in case of road rage. LOL

So, the plan is to cover the entirety of your car with 8.5x11” protective sheets...?
I’ve got the Obama flag peeling back to reveal the German flag from WWII on the back of my car. I went to a strangers house to buy a rifle some years back and parked so it couldn’t be seen, just in case. Walked into his carport and he had the “A watermelon on every porch.” Obama sticker on his truck. Said he got flipped off a lot around Portland.
My new car got keyed along the entire driver’s side last week. I had a license plate holder that said, “Have you thanked a soldier, lately”
Had no driving confrontations and parked correctly into a grocery parking space. What’s wrong with people!
I do live in California, by the way!
I think the plan is to put the bumper sticker on a magnetic sheet that can easily be removed from your bumper when parked in a disconcerting area.
I had a leftist woman yell at me in a parking lot over the NRA Life Time Member sticker on the back of my Mazda.
I told her that guns kill fewer children than Planned Parenthood. She went totally ballistic, I thought she was literally going to punch me. I couldn’t stop laughing on my way home

Duh. Got it. Good idea.
I wouldn’t advertise my views because while I rarely park where an Obamunist would see the car, I don’t need to be sassed by cops. In the end, they work for Caesar (no matter what their personal views may be), and they are adamantly opposed to any tax cuts (because then they’d be out of work).
That may have happened just because the car was new, not because of your plate frame. Envy is a Democrat value.
Excellent. Thanks!
“Had no driving confrontations and parked correctly into a grocery parking space. Whatâs wrong with people!”
Back when it was McCain v. Obama I worked in a plant with mostly black floor workers. There was one McCain sticker in the entire lot. I spoke to others who were going to vote Republican and we had all concluded that a McCain sticker would get our cars keyed. Liberals have zero respect for the property of others. Also, public insurrection is a liberal hallmark.
“I do live in California, by the way!”
Thats whats wrong with people ;-)
That is not to say that covering your car in magnetic sheets is a bad idea. Change a Focus in to a Ferrari.
Its a crying shame that we have to resort to such measures to prevent damage to our vehicles for the crime of expressing our political views.
The other side believes in mob rule unfortunately.
Simple fix, don’t put political, or any other such stickers on your car in the first place. Door damage, etc. happens easily enough without asking for it. Duh?
Any time I see a car with a liberal’s names being displayed I say to myself, “There goes another idiot”
I don’t advertise. Be the gray man. Here’s a short story on the topic.
