Liberty University president urges students to arm selves

LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) -- The president of Liberty University urged students at the Christian school to carry concealed weapons on campus to counter any possible armed attack like the mass killings in San Bernardino, Calif.

"Let's teach them a lesson if they ever show up here," President Jerry Falwell Jr. told students at a convocation Friday.

The call-to-arms was met with rousing applause from students, but some said Falwell went too far when he appeared to be referring specifically to Muslims, the News & Advance reported.

"I've always thought if more good people had concealed carry permits, then we could end those Muslims before they walked in .," Falwell said.

Questioned by a student on social media, Falwell said he was referring to Islamic terrorists.

The second clause of the sentence. It did not take the judas goats and traitors long to go into action, did it? One will also note that , when pressed, Falwell did not crawfish, he specified who he was referring to.

Many people from my church (many who are very wealthy) send their kids to Liberty.

These days, it eclipses Harvard, Duke, Vanderbilt, Yale, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Cornell, Brown, Syracuse, Boston University, NYU, Colombia, Berkley, and Stanford in common sense and a real education.

It seems as if the only real places of actual education and standards these days are Christians colleges and universities.

If I had a stack of resumes on my desk, and the graduates were from Liberty, Messiah College, Nyack, Wheaton College, Houghton College, or Cedarville University - - I would hire them first and reject the other applicants. There seems to be nothing but garbage coming out of our once prestigious secular colleges and universities.

Beautiful campus. The photos don't do it justice.

Brilliant kids there. I mean brilliant. I went back to one of my alma maters (Syracuse) for a lecture, and they didn't have one half the knowledge or common sense. Other Christian colleges like Messiah teach engineering, and have some of the best programs in the world. Again, I think the brick and motor secular universities are dying.

I attend Liberty University Online. It is a real school for adults, with a real focus on veterans. But, the residential students are college-age and they are serious men and women. If I had a college-age kid, he would be going to Liberty.

Obviously, Lynch and Obama must investigate and prosecute these hate crimes. DHS must alerted to these veteran, White, Christian threats to our nation. And Muslims, homosexuals, atheists, and Socialists must be on the jury. If we decide to even have one..........
