When Jeb Bush goes down, he’s taking the rest of the GOP field with him (except Donald Trump).That, at least, is what will happen if Mike Murphy, the head of Bush’s super PAC Right to Rise, gets his way.
Right to Rise has $75 million in the bank, and Murphy’s not going to let it go to waste, according to Politico:
According to another source close to Right to Rise, Murphy has been floating another tactical shift to potential supporters, suggesting that he might spend the bulk of the $75 million to carpet bomb Rubio, Cruz, Carson, Christie—everyone but Trump. The thinking: making the race into a binary choice between Bush and Trump might be the only way a majority of primary voters go with Bush.

Absolutely.
As for Cruz, he serves no purpose for Trump that I see. It’s a manufactured dream by Cruz supporters who like Trump.
Trump is fine in the South, exploding actually, and does not need Cruz there, and if the North is blue and a tougher sell, Trump is already racking up broader support than anyone else among moderates, Independents, the differing demographic groups and even fed up democrats. Cruz won’t be mastering that crowd.
None but Trump have ever bothered to approached the black pastors. That’s done. Trump is just warming up and will go toe to toe against Hillary for minority votes and haunt her every step throughout the campaign.
If Trump selected a politician, I would guess Jeff Sessions has counseled him more than we know, particularly, he did so with Trump on TPP. Cruz failed that Sessions test and chose to go, instead, if you can believe it, with the empty promises of Turtle Head McConnell. Now Cruz is fast reshaping that blunder.
Cruz also was all about tripling the HB1-Visa program from the Gang of Eight numbers for 65,000 high skilled foreign workers to come in here, to his own number, for 325,000 of them! Now he is fast walking that blunder back as fast as he can and calling for 180 day delay for some damn investigation! Weeds.
Parents of college grads who can not find jobs were livid, and now are not even listening to Cruz. Foreign workers! Those are a war cry to those parents.
Let me assure you, or “warn” you, that if “all is not what it seems” for Trump, then it is even truer for any other candidate also, but at a faster pace.
If Trump gets messed with, the rest will be cake for the alligators.
Except for the Establishment GOPEEEE anointed one, who must first agree to do pony tricks for the donor class.

Trump is a media creation. He will not do what he has led you to believe he will.
I think you obviously missed the entire point of the article and edge toward rocketing off on some implied course for rather insulting Trump with your own conspiratorial interpretation of what you think has been against Trump, shutting out reality and what real leadership sounds like when it’s as pissed as he is and his supporters are.
I see one thing for sure, and it is this. You are no where pissed enough to save America, I can pretty much tell from your frisky little chip on your shoulder that you are some kind of a lab experiment for one more dunking by the GOPEEE, who prefers to grunt out airy opinions that are shaped by your bias, but actually say not one damn thing of actual interest.
What you think is of no interest to me, nor should it be, where Trump is concerned, but you can call me in January, 2017, and congratulate me when Hillary is past tense and it’s all about Donald Trump, because no one else is heading your way if Trump should be taken out by the GOPEEEE machine shenanigans. What is obvious is that the Republicans in Congress aren't what they have claimed to be (conservative) to their voters.
So who are they??
If Cruz, Rubio and Carson go down only some of Rubio's votes go to Bush the rest go to Trump.
I’ll still vote for Sen. Cruz, and if trump or Jeb get the nomination, I’ll head out the door to a third party.

Bush will be lucky to finish 5th. This “binary choice”, which will not happen, would make a Trump win a certainty, ABB is the majority.
