Congressman Stephen Lynch (D- MA) was one of 47 Democrats who joined with Republicans to support a GOP bill to tighten screening requirements for "Syrian refugees." I happen to think this is moot since the FBI Director has made it crystal clear we can screen all we want, but since there is no intelligence to refer back to, the process will yield unreliable results. That aside, Lynch is speaking out on his lack of confidence in the Department of Homeland Security as well as the Transportation Security Administration. On Tuesday, during an interview on Boston Public Radio, Lynch stated:
---------
Back in August, we did an investigation--the inspector General did--of the Department of Homeland Security, and they had 72 individuals that were on the terrorist watch list that were actually working at the Department of Homeland Security. The director had to resign because of that. Then we went further and did and eight-airport investigation. We had staffers go into eight different airports to test the department of homeland security screening process at major airports. They had a 95 percent failure rate. We had folks--this was a testing exercise, so we had folks going in there with guns on their ankles, and other weapons on their persons, and there was a 95 percent failure rate.
-----------
Six dozen DHS employees are on the terror watch list and the TSA has a 95% failure rate. No further comment is needed. The numbers speak for themselves. (And one can only wonder how the announcement of the TSA failure rate may encourage terrorists to up the ante with respect to air travel.)

They'd be "civil servants" who can't be fired, their union says so!
"Amerika, is this a great country, or what!"
Pushing the “agreement” button.
I would like to know what exactly constitutes ‘vetting’. Do refugees have ID? Do we have fingerprint data to match theirs up against? Even if an accurate background check could be performed, so what? Just because they have not been yet been identified as a terrorist doesn’t mean they aren’t.
Yep. Paris has hundreds of thousands of Muslims. At a recent Islamic anti-terror rally there, only about 100 Muslims showed up.
Trump needs to get in there and say “You’re Fired!”
Early and often.
I agree in 99% of the cases but since the watch and no-fly lists are bureaucratic what are the chance some of us here could be on that list?
I'm sure there's no pressure coming from the top. You know pretty quickly that you'll never get promotion or be put on jobs where your bound to fail etc. You might even be set up for more serious things.
MOLON LABE Obama.
You, Pukelousy and the Hilderbeast can just rot in hell if you think you can get them any other way......
72 employees at DHS on terror watch list

Yeah? Really?
Well, I think it’s about time to have all DHS employees get together and have a nice Christmas Party.
I believe we are being governed by traders and people who hate our country, Christianity and our way of life.... Just like the big obummer himself...!
MHO. :(
Whack ‘em and stack ‘em in a hole in the ground.
I guess unless you’ve flown, you wouldn’t know.
72. Funny how that number keeps coming up.
Islam can even ruin a number.
The Israeli way? They are certainly not getting the job done. Stabbings, shootings, bombings, rock throwings, etc.
Getting the job done means removing Islam from your midst.
If having 72 people on the Terror Watch List, but still working for the DHS isn’t proof of the high quality, top notch vetting which our government is capable of...then I don’t know what is!!
Vetting means nothing. It is a fool’s errand.
Muslim = No Go
My guess: the DHS - Homeland Security - is thoroughly infiltrated.

>>So, can we assume the 72 identified people on the terror watch list were fired ?
That would be ray-cess! When the director resigned, they all probably got bumped up one level.
Enemy islamists do this sort of thing...especially as CIC.
