It is also now known that just two weeks before the shooting rampage, Farook got into a heated argument with a Messianic Jewish colleague about Islam. The gunman's co-worker, 52-year-old Nicholas Thalasinos, was identified today as one of the victims in the attacks.
Kuuleme Stephens said she happened to call Thalasinos while he was at work and having a discussion with Farook.
Thalasinos identified Farook by name and told her the 28-year-old believed Islam was a peaceful religion. She added that Farook said Americans don't understand Islam.
Stephens said both men worked as county restaurant inspectors and regularly discussed politics and religion. Thalasinos was passionate about pro-Israel causes and was known to rant about Islam on Facebook.
As the New York Post first reported, Thalasinos' profile page was filled with negative comments about Muslims and references to his conservative beliefs.
In one of his final status updates posted on Tuesday, Thalasinos responded to an anti-Semitic tirade allegedly penned by an apparent Muslim living in Ukraine who railed against Jews and Israel.
âAnyway my new hobby appears to be BLOCKING PAGAN ANTISEMITIC TROGLODYTES so I'm just passing this along to warn others,â was Thalasinos' reply.
He was back online early Wednesday morning, just hours before the shooting, sharing articles about Russia's Vladimir Putin and posting a negative comment about President Obama.
It's unclear at this point if the discussion between the two men played any role in the massacre.

From the dailymail article:
“Farook’s brother, Syed Raheel Farook (pictured right, leaving his sister’s house), served in the Navy from 2003 to 2007. He was attached to the crew of the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise, serving as an information systems technician”
Wow.
Farook obviously lost this argument in the end.
The guy is dead. This is second hand info. Bet it’s a lot of crap.
Not a word of this in the American press.
I guess some will try to spin it as they had it coming.
Oh, but we do.
Religion of Peace, eh?
We are in a war people. Some of us are on board with that, some are in denial. When the time comes for getting my head chopped off I won’t be able to recite the Koran. I don’t intend to let my neck be put in that situation. I hope to have the opportunity to go out in style and take a few of the islamoturds with me.
.308 and .40 are just a few of my favorite numbers. And I love me some pork. Bury me with a pound of bacon.

Anyone know if 52-year-old Nicholas Thalasinos was one of the victims? I have been watching the local news here in SoCal and what a difference. KABC channel 7 is having a hard time with the terrorist angle and like the workplace violence.
KCAL Channel 9 is pretty much on the terrorist side of things. The reporter went to lengths to show how it is most likely not work place violence. Most we already know such as bringing the wife along also all dressed up for action, renting the SUV that morning, having a pipe bomb factory in the garage, visiting Saudi Arabia and Pakistan along with the all the ammo and guns.
Heard he was.
Irrelevant. You don’t plan out, buy all the necessary equipment needed, and build the devices in a two week period without raising some serious red flags.
He did indeed lose his argument in the end. Stunningly so. I’m guessing he know that the words were true. All those bombs and all guns and ammo and planning had to date back further than that argument. I’ll bet he was mad BECAUSE he knew it was true. He may have feared being discovered.
After 9/11 I understood EVERYTHING about Islam.
Blame the victim?
“Quasi-sympathetic” rationale to give Farook a “reason?”
This is sick. Whatever the decedent posted...the perps PROVED him right.
May the victims Rest in Peace and may their families find peace.
“Anyone know if 52-year-old Nicholas Thalasinos was one of the victims?”
Yes!
Oh, but we do.
Islam is nothing but a pseudo religion of hate and killing. There is nothing at all redeeming about it. When they’re not about killing others they’re killing their own daughters in the name of some weird whacked out code of honor.
