A New Hampshire veteran is upset after school officials asked him to remove the word "Christmas" from an annual town tradition.
John Fletcher, the commander of the American Legion in Marlborough, New Hampshire, wrote an editorial in the local paper after he said the superintendent barred him from promoting the event to students unless he changed the name of the event.
"I was very upset, I really was," Fletcher said. "If it's not a school sponsored activity, I don't understand why 'Christmas' had to come out of 'Christmas Tree'."
Fletcher, who also raises money to buy gifts for children who attend the event, said a few days after Veterans' Day, Superintendent Robert Malay called him and said Fletcher needed to "revise" a flyer that would be handed out to students.
"He wanted me to change it to say "holiday tree lighting" instead," Fletcher told FOX25. "It's not a holiday tree, it's a Christmas tree. If you want a holiday tree, then do it for Valentine's Day, or Columbus Day, or whatever you want."

Superintendent Robert Malay overreaches his minuscule to nonexistent yet self perceived authority to demand someone not exercise their First Amendment rights.
The result being a local television station does a full two minutes in the prime-time news slot with an interview of the Santa volunteer, thus insuring the entire City of Boston knows all the slimy details of Superintendent Robert Malays creepy adherence to a liberal agenda.
Additional there is now a twitter campaign (the very medium used by the school students themselves!) just in case there is anyone left in the State that does not know what Superintendent Robert Malay did.
Can anyone guess just how POed most of Boston is at Superintendent Robert Malay right about now?
Can anyone guess what the most popular and well attended CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING will be this year?

Public school officials are demanding this. Another reason, right?

It is impossible for any school to be religiously, culturally, or political neutral. No matter what the government schools do it will be forcing the worldview of the most politically powerful onto captive children and forcing the citizen taxpayer to pay for it.

What I will never understand is why ANYONE who calls himself/herself AMERICAN just goes along with what these assclowns dictate.
If they say sit down, stand back up.
If they say be quiet, get loud and and in their face.
If they say “No”, give them the middle finger in their face and do it anyway.
It’s time to stop being polite to people who want to erase us and our traditions.

Many people are just uninformed, which is why I tell uninformed people, who have my ideology, what the various candidates stand for. It’s surprising how many people don’t know which politician represents their beliefs.
