Ohio Gov.John Kasich today would not commit to supporting frontrunner Donald Trump as the party's nominee, saying that he did not expect the real estate mogul to win.
"I think he's very divisive and I do not believe he will last," Kasich said when asked if he would support Trump if he wins the Republican primary.
Kasich pointed to Trump's recent back and forth with TheNew York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski as a reason he won't win the nomination. Trump has drawn criticism this week for appearing to mimic Kovaelski's mannerisms, caused by a muscular disorder, which Kasich said Trump "absolutely mocked."
"Somebody who divides this country, here in the 21st century, who's calling names of women and Muslims and Hispanics and mocking reporters, and says, âI didn't do it,' but he did do it, it's just not going to happen," said Kasich.

Who gives a $hit who that dumbass supports! Stand still John, your Tourette’s is acting up again.
I hope he doesn’t...I don’t want trash and garbage like Kasich any where around the goodness of Trump...let Kasich spread his disease on other people....
GO TRUMP GO!!!
“There are plenty of people who are registered Republicans who reliably vote Republican who will not vote for Donald Trump if he is the nominee.”
And you know this how? How many is plenty? Personal acquaintances? Since you don’t like Trump, your personal poll is very scientific?
Kaisich has always been one..... His true character is now showing.....
There are many registered Republicans who will NOT vote for anyone but Trump or maybe Cruz. If civil war in the party this must be, bring it!
His supporters couldn’t a V W bus so who cares?
‘
I think that (asking candidates if they would pledge to support the nominee) only applied to Trump.
These scumbags. They think they are not bound by anything but they can make Trump knuckle under with a childish agreement.
Kasich is so obviously a bottom feeder who will do whatever it takes to please the puppet masters. Yesterday, he even came out for fighting WITH Turkey in the ME.
There's a reason we should care. Kasich is governor for the Republican convention. If the elitists try to steal the election from Trump, there might be a need for a voice of reason in OH to keep things in line. Kasich implied in an ad that Trump is a Nazi. Besides that, given ample opportunities, he refused to say he'd support Trump as the nominee!! But he did say with confidence that Trump won't be the nominee.
That convention comes to OH, with probably a majority of delegates detesting Kasich. How does that work if there are any security situations?
What about the pledge???
“I think that (asking candidates if they would pledge to support the nominee) only applied to Trump.”
I remember a show of hands and ALL repubs having to sign the pledge.
My favorite Trump Tweet...
@realDonaldTrump
I want to do negative ads on John Kasich, but he’s so irrelevant to the race that I don’t want to waste my money.
What is somewhere between 0 amd 1%.
And that is why Cruz is going to be the nominee.
I don’t care if any elected goon supports Trump or Cruz. It gives them cred to be hated in my opinion.
The human race, that is.
We need a Duke to kill our enemies.
Not a dud to placate them.
Sorry Kas&itch.
Better luck never time.
:-)
I really have had my full of the damn GOP.
What a bunch of useless asholes.
My governor is a nasty little punk.
Oh, yes. The Republican base is chanting: “Reach Across the Aisle! Reach Across the Aisle! Reach Across the Aisle! Reach Across the Aisle! Reach Across the Aisle! Reach Across the Aisle! Reach Across the Aisle! Reach Across the Aisle! Reach Across the Aisle! Reach Across the Aisle! Reach Across the Aisle! Reach Across the Aisle! Reach Across the Aisle!”
Can’t you hear them?
