Pierson also responded to Camerota's questioning on whether the campaign has suffered from a lack of adherence to strict facts, specifically in the case of Trump's insistence that he saw thousands of Muslims in New Jersey celebrating in the aftermath of 9/11. The spokeswoman pointed to "three archived newspapers that did talk about that there were Muslims in New Jersey, Jersey City and Paterson, to be specific, including a retired FBI agent that was there at the time saying they had several calls come in with people saying they saw the exact same thing."
"Now we understand that we don't have a ton of video showing that, Alisyn," she continued, remarking that those videos are not available "because the iPhone didn't drop until 2007, so the media can't just base everything prior to that on the amount of the absentee cellphone video."
Camerota then pointed out the difference between saying thousands of people were celebrating and several calls had been made, to which Pierson responded that the FBI agent was quoted in the report as saying he received "pages and pages of calls." People in New Jersey who said they saw it happen have also said as much to the campaign, she added.
"If we're talking about the magnitude, we're talking about the wrong thing," Pierson said, adding later that she did not know why "the media is so intent on suppressing the radical Muslim activity in this country. Maybe we should talk about that."

The more the press argues with Trump on this, the more he will gan support. He wins on two fronts. The war against terrorism is his strength as is the war against the biast media.
The truth always works.

Event starts at 7:30 pm.
Exactly.
Also, a casual walk along the streets of downtown Jersey City will scare the bejeezus out of most Americans due to the pervasive radicalized Muslim neighborhoods there.
Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence...................
Wham! Pierson is doing a great job!
Looking pretty is what she mostly gets paid for, anyway.
The title and the article excerpt have nothing to do with each other.
The title talks about Trump’s phony “100 black clergy support me” claim. But the excerpt is about Muslims.
Weird.
Thank you. Nice to know another had the same problem as this machine. To keep up with the falsehoods of media vs TRUMP requires a scorecard. Too many at one time confuses the issues.
GO TRUMP! GO CRUZ! YOU WIN OR WE LOSE!!
bttt
Neither of his statements were true. That is typical Trump.
When the black religious leaders spoke out that they were not endorsing him, he cancelled that meeting.
I read the black religious leaders statements, a number of those leaders, about this over the weekend - they were all upset that Trump said they endorse him and they don't, and ONE of them is for Trump and he said he is the one who set up that meeting. I would bet after this blew up, Trump told that man, "You are fired."
...and ONE of them is for Trump and he said he is the one who set up that meeting.
Wow. And you can’t figure it out with only one dot that needs connecting.
