Already knew all that from my older brother who eventually became an eagle scout.
I understand. However, what is the logical course of action here? Begin the build up to a lawsuit based on sexual discrimination because boys get to do all the cool stuff, OR work to make the Girl Scouts to improve their curriculum?
When my middle daughter was about 8, I brought her along to the “Cub-On” Cub Scout camp-out in the Santa Cruz Mountaims with her 6 year old brother who was the Cub Scout. She loved it — shooting, archery, whittling, wildlife, canoeing, exploring. We had a blast. I chaperoned a couple of our older daughter’s Girl Scout camping trips and I don’t think they had nearly as much fun as the boys did.
