Following a lengthy standoff with police, the suspect in the shooting Friday at a Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs, Co. has surrendered to police and is in custody. His name and motive have not yet been released.
Eleven people, including a reported five police officers, were injured in the shooting. The standoff began a little after 11:30 a.m. local time and ended just before 5 p.m.

The gunman walked out of facility just before 5 p.m. local time, and officers took him into custody, officials told NBC News.
Several more people were injured, with the total now at 11, sources familiar with the incident told NBC News.
Police said they could not immediately say whether anyone died.
"At this point I have as many questions as you do," Colorado Springs Police Chief Peter Carey told reporters before heading to the hospital to visit injured officers.
Police are still clearing the building, now a crime scene, to make sure several unidentified items that the gunman brought with him were not dangerous, police said.
The condition of any of the people transported to the hospital was not immediately known.

That is why Operation Rescue was bombing the clinics at night; for the longest time there were no other fatalities.
It's already being blamed on right wing (by commenters). I fear much damage has been done to pro-lifers even if it does turn out that it was incidental to a crime nearby.
They will try (anything); but if this tactic or strategy were actually a part of a larger Christian conservative movement, it would be happening a lot more frequently. In the meantime the abortuaries will continue to kill and dismember the unborn.

The shooting in Colorado Springs is the first time I can recall liberals being concerned for human life at a Planned Parenthood. But then again they don’t think the 65 million babies that have been murdered are human life to start with.
Do we know where the 2 civilians were murdered yet? I’m confused? Vicki Cowart, president and chief executive of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains said in the Washington Post story that:
“...there were no known injuries to the clinic’s staff or patients...”
Local libs on our news website are emphatic that these two civilians were murdered at the PP clinic. Again, if no patients or staff were injured according to Ms. Cowart, who does this leave at the PP clinic to be murdered?
I thought that these two individuals were murdered at other locations...not the PP clinic?
Our local libs are desperately clinging to this theory so they can point to the Domestic Terrorism of Christians and Conservatives.

They want to put all pro-lifers on the terrorist watch list. Crime happens everywhere. Terrorism is a group that pushes terror for fun, profit, and political power. These are not the same.
If the left does this, the right needs to look for groups they can label the same what. I seem to remember Jeffry Dahmer was a homosexual.

Blaming xians for shooting/bombing abortuaries is just one more of those language brainwashing tactics which smears xians but also serves to erase any possibility that murdered children have fathers who care about them, too.
Really, have you noticed that any time an abortuary is involved, the first thing we think about is...did a xian do it? The thought about an angry dad is the LAST thought on our minds!

Planned Parenthood Rocky Mountains CEO Vicki Cowart said it wasn’t yet clear whether the women’s health organization was the target of the attack. Cowart did, however, say that anti-abortion “extremists†have created a “poisonous environment that feeds domestic terrorism in this country.â€
The pro-abortion Left will milk this incident for all its worth. This is all a part of the War on Women agenda they will use to thrust der Hildabeast into the White House.

It would be very telling if one of the citizens injured was Robert Lewis’ wife. The initial dialogue stated that it started as a domestic dispute until they got heavy into the PP spin.
As far as I know, God did not command us to go out and kill abortionists.
Where do you find that in the Bible? Would you sue deadly force to stop someone from killing a new born, say five seconds after delivery?
