A lone pianist touched the emotional core of Western sensibilities when he played John Lennonâs âImagineâ outside the Bataclan theatre in Paris, where concert-goers were murdered by Islamist gunmen last weekend. The pianist was reportedly watching a France v Germany soccer game when the attacks began. He said that he âjust knew he had to do something.â It was his âdutyâ to pay tribute to the victims of the Paris attacks. So he drove 400 miles through the night from Konstanz, Germany to Paris.

For me, if I were threatened with having to hear this insipid piece of garbage over and over, I'd for sure surrender. I have never liked it and I never will. So how much increase in teleflorist traffic was there. After all, some of the folks in Paris have flowers to protect them from the bullets of the disgruntled immigrants who just want to escape the battle field. Right?

That song should be the number one all-time greatest hit for every terrorist organization that ever was.

Insipid piece of garbage is a fair summary. It is a hit of intellectual and moral morphine for the reality challenged.

Only if they were remorseful for the events of last Friday. Which I’m sure they are. NOT! Human nature for a lot of people to want to dominate others. Which is basically the whole idea behind is-lame. Unless the Eloi finally take over and unicorns and rainbow skies appear. Then again, the Moorlocks dominated them for a food source.

To “imagine” is to put yourself in a sleep-like state where reality is IGNORED. Hence the origin of the word ignoramus, WHICH WHAT PLAYING THIS STUPID SONG REPRESENTS.

He said that he just knew he had to do something. In the good old days, citizens who wanted to "do something" after an attack would have joined the army to fight the enemy. Now they play a song and get weepy holding a candle. Any wonder why the Islamic world calls us weak and says we are losing the war?

Anyone notice that in modern liberal democracies, symbols and responses such as the above, support concerts, minutes of silence, lighting up national monuments to show support, etc. are the reaction whether a disaster was a natural one, or a man-made act of war?
