Donald Trump suggested Monday that U.S. counterterrorism officials should shut down certain mosques in response to the horrific terrorist attacks in Paris last week.
“I would hate to do it but it’s something you’re going to have to strongly consider,†the 2016 Republican frontrunner said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe†when asked if he would recommend taking the measure.
“Some of the absolute hatred is coming from those areas,†he said.

We should include potential immigrants swearing that they do not support or abide by Sharia law and if they ever break this vow after the fact they should be deported.

The application form that green card holders must fill out in order to apply for U.S. citizenship (Form N-400, Application for Naturalization), asks various questions about group and party memberships. First, it asks an open-ended question about whether applicants have been members of any organization, association, or other type of club or group. Then the form asks specifically whether the applicant is or has ever been a member of or in any way associated (either directly or indirectly) with the Communist Party or any other totalitarian party, or ever advocated (either directly or indirectly) the overthrow of any government by force or violence.
Saying “yes†or otherwise indicating membership in or advocacy for the Communist Party or any totalitarian or similar party can result in denial of one’s application for U.S. citizenship. This all relates to the portion of U.S. immigration law that requires citizenship applicants to show that they are attached to the principles of the U.S. Constitution and well-disposed to the nation’s good order and happiness. (See I.N.A. § 316(a).) This includes a belief in representative democracy and the basic premise that political change should be brought about in an orderly fashion.

Once again Donald Trump is breaking trail for everyone else. Now they have to weigh in heavily on the war on terror. With specifics. #1 job of the president is to protect our country. How do each of the candidates intend to do that? Too bad they did not ask the Dems in their debate, although I did not expect them to.

Ask yourself what happened to the "Church of England" after the American Revolution?
Since the founding father's did not intend the Constitution to be a suicide pact, it was "shut down."
The justification: The Church of England was not just a religion, it was a political religion requiring complete allegiance to the King of England. The King's followers were pledged to aid him in destroying that Constitution and the American Republic and thereby forfeited religious protection under the Constitution.
Church of England congregations were compelled to abandon all their political pro-King doctrines (thereby becoming the Episcopal Church) or leave the country.
Why should the situation with Islam in the US be regarded as different? Why should we now allow the Constitution to become a suicide pact?
The answer is that Islam is a unique 'religion' - and should not be covered by the First Amendment.
People should have the right to worship as they please, but a quick perusal through the holy books of Islam shows the reader that this is an exhortation to convert, enslave, or kill those who refuse to join its club. Exhortations to convert is fine -- enslave or kill are abominations. No other religion (none that I know) preaches the latter. Islam is a wicked political movement whose design is to destroy the host that it infects.
Of course this does not deserve First Amendment protection. The Brits had a similar problem with the Thuggee cult in India, and they dealt with it appropriately.

It must start there - this is the queen bee in the hive.
The Constitution is a social contract among "We the People" in which "We the People" agree to abide by its terms in constituting and obeying its terms. One of those terms is the First Amendment that Islamists refuse to respect. They instead intend to negate that contract with Sharia. Hence, they are NOT participants in that contract and therefore do not enjoy or deserve its protections.
Yep it is much better to do nothing I say.
No Muslim can swear allegiance to the Constitution because their religion demands that the Koran and Sharia be above all else. Yet we allow them to become citizens with a modified oath.
