Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, who surged in polls this fall, has seen her support wilt as backers across the board have shifted from her to retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson.
It's part of the candidate merry-go-round, as voters seek the best insurgent champion in the GOP field, much as they did in 2012 when they tested all the alternatives to eventual nominee Mitt Romney.
This time, those finicky voters have a more complicated task: They want an insurgent but one who isn't billionaire businessman Donald Trump, who draws his own unique base of support. A former technology company executive, Mrs. Fiorina was an attractive option early on, but voters appear to have moved on.

Anyway, Carson’s turned the corner too, and his supporters are splitting between Cruz and Trump. Bush’s people all went to Rubio, making Rubio look stronger than he is, as there are very few Open Borders Republican voters that are not already with him - Rubio will be lucky to ever see 20%.
I don’t understand why Carson hasn’t collapsed, he is way weak, and that lisp drives me nuts.

I am waiting to be called a bigot again because I posted something making fun of Carson. For some reason Trump and the others are fair game, but some people just get a burr up their heiny if you you make fun of Carson.

Don’t you just love the timid and PC Republicans? To counter the “fairness and all inclusiveness” of the Democrats they too, run a female and a black on their ticket solely to show that the Republican party can be FAIR and INCLUSIVE of race and gender too.
