A mass grave believed to hold the remains of dozens of Yazidi women executed by the Islamic State (ISIS) group was found Saturday in northern Iraq, officials said.
The grave, which has not yet been excavated, is located on the edge of the town of Sinjar, which was captured from ISIS this week in an operation led by Kurdish security forces and backed by US-led air strikes.
The area is infamous for a brutal ISIS campaign of massacres, enslavement and rape against Yazidis, a minority group whose faith the jihadists consider heretical.
The grave contains the bodies of some 78 women aged between 40 to around 80, according to younger women who had been enslaved by ISIS, witnessed the executions and later escaped, said Miyasir Hajji, a Sinjar council member.
"It seems the (ISIS) terrorist members only wanted young girls to enslave," Hajji said, a reference to jihadists using women as sex slaves who can be bought and sold.
Mahma Khalil, the local official responsible for the Sinjar area, confirmed that the grave had been found, and said it is believed to contain some 80 victims.

True, they're an unusual amalgam of Zoroastrian, Muslim, and Christian faiths. If I recall, they believe Jesus is an angel of some kind.

Decent people of the world need to educate themselves concerning the truth of Islam. It's a satanic cult worship - most certainly NOT a religion of peace.
Islam has encoded in its teachings- murder, lying, plunder, slavery, rape, warfare, and even terrorism as part of its official religious doctrine. Jesus said that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, and this is exactly what Islam has done from its beginning. No other religion so completely fits the description in the Bible of the beast and false prophet than Islam.
Islam is different from all the other religions that do not believe in Jesus, because Islam officially declares that Jesus is not the Son of God (Quran 4: 171; 18: 4-5), which is the Biblical definition of Antichrist: “Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? The spread of Islam has left a trail of blood, suffering, and destruction like no other ideology in world history. History, and even this present age, shows us that Islam is a very violent and fascist religion, full of hate for Christians and Jews. No one could invent a more evil cult.

The Muslims have always accused them of being devil-worshipers, because they honor Melek Taus, the "Peacock Archangel" who is in charge of the Earth; however the Yazidis say Melek Taus is not evil and he is not Satan.
They are extremely culturally inward-looking, keep to themselves in every way, do not mix with others, accept no converts, and have never (to my knowledge) aggressed against anybody.
The Muslim fanatics say Allah wants to wipe them out.
