The Democratic Party presidential candidates will hold a two hour long debate Saturday starting at 9 p.m. EST, 6 p.m. PST at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
The debate will be broadcast by CBS News and can be viewed on over-the-air CBS television and radio affiliates as well as various online streaming sources.
The candidates: Former Gov. Martin O'Malley of Maryland, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of New York.
Co-hosting the debate are CBS News, the Des Moines Register and CBS affiliate KCCI-TV.
Debate moderator: CBS News Face the Nation host John Dickerson.
Questioners: CBS News Congressional Correspondent Nancy Cordes, KCCI anchor Kevin Cooney and the Des Moines Register's political columnist, Kathie Obradovich.
Questions posed on Twitter using the hashtag #DemDebate will be used for some of the questions.

A weak closing IMHO. Short and not sweet. . not engaging and not inspiring. She acts as if she's owed the Presidency.
Trump or Cruz will make mince meat of her. They're only problem will be to not overdo it. . She will come across as the steely, "Don't mess with me" like she did tonight.

Hey, Bernie. The world turns on money. And oil. It takes capital to provide jobs, lots of it. And lots of oil, gas and coal. Socialism works until you run out of (other people’s) money. Other than that, you and Hillary are still idiots. O’Malley, too.
Listening on the radio, I’d say Hillary won the debate.
She wasn’t as left-wing as Bernie and O’Malley, in particular she stayed to their right regarding Wall Street, assuring her campaign contributions.
Her voice had more gravitas than theirs. She also spoke more deliberately. That’s important — it’s the source of most of Obama’s political success.
Bernie came off as a dreamer, and O’Malley as a one-note “I did it in Maryland!” as if anyone cares.

Honestly, I don’t think Trump will do well with Hillary. She is very cold and calculating. She will study up on how to push his buttons. Cruz, OTH, is an accomplished debater. He will wipe the floor with her.
And Bernie NEVER served in the Military...

You get a different impression from the radio versus the TV, but at least on the radio, Hillary gave a better performance than Bernie or O’Malley.
Bernie and O’Malley came off as ineffectual Allende-like socialists. Hillary came off as a cynical power-broker.
If I were a democrat dependent on the gov’t, I’d definitely go for her as more likely to deliver the goods — plundering the public treasury.
