Trump has leapt some 17 percentage points among likely Republican voters since Nov. 6, when he was essentially tied with Ben Carson at about 25 percent. Trump now captures 42 percent of those voters while Carson has fallen off slightly.

Among all Republicans – not simply likely primary voters – Trump holds a substantial edge over Carson, at 34 percent to about 20 percent, according to the Reuters/Ipsos poll.

Perhaps common sense is genius? To be able to see through the lies and distortions to the immutable truth? I think so!

Expect Trumps numbers to rise again Particularly after the “bomb the shit out of them” comment last night!

Trump is probably above 50% now. I also think the markets will collapse 50% before election time. This all plays into Trumps hand in a yuge way.

Yes. He was wise not to make an off the cuff remark tonight. This is a test of his statesmanship.

"this is an outlier and needs to be confirmed by other polling before it’s really believable."

Yep.

The polling companies have lost the ability to produce accurate polls in many cases.

Accurate polls cost a boatload of money as a fully random sample of numbers have to be called. And it's a large starting number before the winnowing begins.

And it's impossible to get accurate polling in a caucus state.

Trump has shown he is more than tough. He is ruthless and we need ruthless. Do you see Hillary against Isis? Merkel is finished with what just happened.

That France closed their borders so quickly indicates some knowledge about the attackers.

How many have to die until the open borders crowd gets tossed out on their ear.

Yes! He was very wise to shut everything down in deference to this catastrophe in France.

Trump would make DHS look into Muslim terrorist activity and leave the Tea Party alone.

It’s a matter of American survival to get rid of muzzies. It’s either them or us — take your pick, America.

Looks like Trump’s comment on Carson’s pathology isn’t going to sink him (the Donald) after all.

Amnesty, plus WWIII, via shooting down the Russian planes Syria invited into its airspace. Not a good combo.
