Former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-Fla.) said in an interview Monday that he would personally kill an infant Adolf Hitler.
âHell yeah I would,â he told The Huffington Post when asked about killing the Nazi leader as a baby.

Would that all of the USA understand your comment!
FReegards.
And I’d make sure he never became interested in Satan.
My time machine kill list would be pretty long. Marx is a definite candidate.
Not a stupid question when you think about it from the perspective of the HuffPost propagandist. He gets to guarantee himself a headline of "GOP Presidential Candidate Supports Killing Babies" or "GOP Presidential Candidate Supports Hitler." Win-win, in their eyes...
Weill if I could only kill one.
The bigger question to me is not whether or not it would be difficult to kill the baby Hitler if you have a time machine. I believe it would be trivially easy.
The bigger question is, if someone did do that, what is the guarantee a replacement wouldn’t rise up from elsewhere in the population?
Maybe the presence of the actual Adolf Hitler suppressed the rise of one or more other budding would-be hitlers.
It would be an interesting experiment, actually. Go back and kill “the” Adolf Hitler (or prevent him from going bad somehow, as others on this thread have suggested, maybe kidnap him and take him back to the future with you thus extracting him from history) and see of a “new” Adolf Hitler (under a different name) arises.
But then we wouldn’t have all those great YouTube “Downfall” parodies.
Which of course I suspect somebody is already working on one for this Jeb comment.
Alois was a very “hands on” father and husband.
Beatings were nearly a daily event for little Adolf.
This is probably what led the Austrian born Adolf to identify with the Germans instead of his Austrian heritage.
Having failed in his father’s eyes, Adolf continued to fail when his dream of a career as an artist crashed and burned.
He saw fighting for the mighty German army as a way to finally be a winner.
Epic fail.
It didn’t help that the victors used the Treaty of Versailles as a blank check.
It didn’t help that the German Army used Adolf to spy on extremist groups post war.
That introduced him to what would become the NAZI party.
An entire life as one perfect storm of failure and rejection which created the most hated man in history.
According to most accounts Adolf idolized his mother and was devastated by her death.
We can only imagine how things would have turned out if Alois had been a good husband and father.
As a side note, the last two men of Adolf’s family bearing the Hitler name live here in the US under assumed names.
They have never married and have never allowed themselves to have children.
They intend for the blood line to die with them.
This has that “what kind of a tree would you be” asininity to it. Nevertheless, if they asked me that I’d say, “Naw, I’m not wise enough to second-guess God.” And I’d continue, “But I’d sure as hell go back far enough to tell Pete Carroll not to throw the damn ball on that last play in the Super Bowl.”
Jeb is tough now.
Exactly. And yes... someone is surely doing a Jeb one as we speak.
REPORTER: “Mr. Trump, knowing what you know now, if you could go back in time, would you kill a baby Hitler”?
TRUMP: “The first thing I would do, if I could go back in time, is hunt down the professor you had in Journalism School who taught you how to ask stupid questions and kick the crap outta’ him”
And harvest his little organs, too!
And Hitler just happened to come along at a time when the new media forms of radio and newsreels were tailor-made for skilled orators such as himself.
LOL, that would be the perfect answer.
As I noted earlier this sounded into a lead in to a pro choice position, but I guess the journalist wasn't too clever either.
