I don’t know if it was slanderous or not, but O’Reilly called Will a “hack” right to his face last night.
Yes, Will was defending RR last night and most people seemed to have missed that point.
George Will can go straight to Hades and not pass Go to collect his $200.00.
When we need someone to defend Reagan, we’ll pick someone who doesn’t side with the GOPe 95% of the time these days.
Will uncorks a column like this every once in a while so he can point to it and claim he’s a Conservative. Then it’s right back to his 95% GOPe support.
Lest we forget, the GOPe hated Reagan. Will is not a effect fellow traveler of the GOPe.
I have no use for the guy.
They really went at it the other day on O'Reilly's show. It is very unusual to see anything like this. It is one thing for these commentator folk to criticize their counterparts on other networks but doing so to a guy in the office down the hall is noteworthy. That goes both ways in this case. Will went after Bill and Bill returned fire, Big Time.
Since O'Reilly is at least a Semi-God at Fox one wonders if George Will actually realizes how far he has wandered off the reservation. Or perhaps he is a short-timer, already given notice by Fox, and on his way to CNN or MSNBC.
I think will peed his depends, and bor almost had a stroke.
I wanted to see a double heart attack and watch both pricks die on TV.
It wasn't a perfect night, but I think they should do it every Friday night until someone blows an aorta and dies on the air.
Great TV, I love FAUX Reality.
O’Reilly has made a fool of himself spouting silliness so many times it’s a wonder anyone pays attention to him.
His take on the energy industry is embarrassing to hear.
BOR, Rivera and Karl are the reason I stopped watching Fox.
They going to keep rolling these idiots out, I can pick and chose my other news sources.
Is this the George Will column that got BOR to go off on Will last night on The Factor?
LOL.
After hearing about the dust-up on O’Reilly’s show last night, I decided to tune in and watch it, anticipating it might serve up some good comedic “hack-versus-hack” entertainment.
It did.
I bought BOR’s first book and then stood in line to get him to sign it. It was so poorly written I never could finish it.
I just watched this exchange. I don’t like Will, but BOR was disgraceful.
As usual, he asks a question and then doesn’t allow a person to respond before he butts in and starts yelling.
BOR is a major ass. That is why I do not watch his Show.
You can’t slander someone in a book. If it’s printed it’s called libel. Slander is a verbal communication.

I guess everyone will just have to wait for my biography of Reagan, which will take several years. I go back to the Reagan Library in Jan., having just done a little stint in the Ford Library.
Everything I needed to know about Ronald Reagan was from:
http://www.amazon.com/Reagan-His-Own-Hand-Revolutionary/dp/0743219384/ref=pd_bxgy_14_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=1YJT7HDDXGX7NZGRPSB1
Will is a RINO hack, O’Reilly is an ignorant blowhard, so the hell with both of them.
A pox on both of their houses. Will defending the late great Ronald Reagan was quite a surprise considering his absurd rantings these last few years. I do not even bother to read his columns.
As for O’Reilly, his ego is so huge, I am surprised that his head has yet to explode. It would be an insult to the animal world to say that he is a horse’s ass. I saw the two of them last evening as I worked out at our fitness center. O’Reilly was beyond being rude. It was interesting that Will never told him to shut up so that he could get a word in. Made me wonder if Will is a chicken s**t, or was he simply allowing O’Reilly to come across as the ass that he truly is.
I watch O’Reilly. I find him entertaining and funny. But I’m also amused that there are people who think he’s a conservative. He’s a run-of-the-mill populist. H’d have been Huey Long or William Randolph Hearst in another era. I think he means well...but he’s basically a statist so far as I can tell.
And while I admire Will’s ability to turn a phrase, I regard him as a standard piece of the DC establishment puzzle. You know: the Bill Safire/David Brooks “respectable” (i.e., not very) conservative.
So I have about the same regard for each: interesting in his way, but not part of the conservative movement.
As a result I think I’m pretty neutral. And when I watched this exchange, it seemed that Will made one very compelling point. He pointed out that BO made no effort to talk to any of the still-living major players in Reagan’s administration. And BO didn’t deny that. To me, that’s a major point, of which I wasn’t aware.
Because of that, I won’t be buying this book. And it’s the only one in this stupid “Killing” series I was considering purchasing. So Will did me a solid.
Hank
FU Bill O’Reilly.
