RUSH: Let me ask you a question, folks. Does any of this with Ben Carson amount to anything at all like Bill and Hillary and their abuse of their library foundation and their personal enrichment? Multimillionaires out selling influence on the come to foreign governments? Hillary's involvement in the Keystone pipeline deal and Bill's as well, where they are enriched from the decision? Does anything that Carson's done get anywhere near that kind of corruption on the Clinton side?
Then CARSON asks...
You ask questions about veracity of what she's done? I want you to go back and ask her some real questions about what happened at Benghazi. Will you ask her when did the time arrive in our nation when we said, "It's too dangerous to go and rescue our people," when in fact you had those two Navy SEALs on top of that compound shooting those machine guns, allowing their colleagues to escape. But I'm sure they were saying, "If we can just hold out, help is on the way. But help was not on the way." Ask her why help was not on the way. Please ask her those questions. I would appreciate it.

I learned that the media can find out exactly what an Army general was doing 50 years ago on a specific day, but they can’t find out what the POTUS or Secretary of State was doing on the night of Benghazi.

This was a coordinated hit job on Ben Carson by the Leftist Media. No doubt about it. It’s getting to the point that these Media hacks need to be swinging from lampposts. I’ve had enough of this crap too.
Compared to the fraud, lies, deceit and murders committed by the democrat party this is such a waste of Mr. Carson’s time. This is the ultimate in the absurd.
If you have read CARSON'S book, you realize he never said any of the things Politico accuses him of. It does not matter whom you are for, this kind of crap is so transparent and deceitful that if you believe it you are no better than the leftists and democrats. These accusations on CARSON are a nothing-burger designed to get him off message nothing more.What is really depressing is how the people on FR are participating in this absolute hit-job. I guess they envision that their candidate will be spared it. No one on the right will be spared, including their candidate.
I prefer Cruz point-by-point, and I like Donald Trump, except that his big mouth and his love for hearing his own opinion about almost anything will sink him if it hasn't already.
But these hits about absolutely nothing by the Cruz and Trump supporters are depressing. I think many of them are merely paid operatives from campaigns posting crap and having a conversation among themselves as campaign operatives but under the guise of being just random conservative people on FR.
Once again Rush thinks like me. So sad, many will carry forever their impression that Carson lied. As if. Will indeed even hear it from FReepers.
Carson disqualified himself from the highest office with his magic vitamins scheme. No further controversies needed.

Hillary is the Godfather in a pantsuit who is running for president. Trump is far, far more accomplished. Hillary gets a pass on everything but Carson is expect to quite with a contrived story that has no legs.

It takes time to get to the bottom of all this. Carson is a very very accomplished man. Right now that far outweighs anything else.

The man is pure talent and worth the benefit of the doubt.
Rush is wrong and is just as bad as Politico in his defense. Politico in no way implied or suggested that Carson went to West Point. The simple fact is that Carson at the least embellished and probably outright peddled a false story for years. The nomination process to West Point is long and tedious. The Army does not throw ‘scholarships’ around just because. I’ve read the paragraph in his book as well as his Facebook post to a supporter’s question on August 15th and Ben continues with the falsehood that he received a scholarship to West Point. He never did apply and none of the service academies give scholarships. So he lied. You can defend it however you want and blame Politico however, but the nomination process is cut and dried and has been the way it has been since 1802. Carson lied and Rush saying otherwise just shows that conservatives cannot always trust our own even if it’s Rush.
Meanwhile, the very same media that is attacking Carson for lying.... At the very same time will praise Hillary and ignore her mountain of lies that jepordize U.S. National Securty.

I was surprised at Rush’s defence today.

Which is an accurate testamonial as to why Carson would fare better at HHS Sec or Surgeon General. His medical expertise amounts to a hill of beans when it comes to leadership necessary to repair a broken country.
