Jeb Bush is promising his donors that he'll get better at debating - and he's urging any "nervous Nellies" among his supporters to "chill out" as he embarks on a reboot of his campaign.
"I'm going to win New Hampshire, I just feel it," Bush told donors on a conference call Wednesday, phoning in from his campaign bus in between stops in the Granite State.
"I know in my heart that we're on the right track," he added, according to an audio recording of the call obtained by NBC News.
But Bush also acknowledged the drubbing he's taken in the press after his performance in the last Republican debate, and he addressed concerns among his campaign's financial backers.
"I promise you I'll do better," Bush said. "All the nervous nellies on the call, chill out. We're going to do better, I promise you. And this is going to be a fun campaign."
And he suggested that much of the pessimism about his efforts is driven by the press.
"All of the disparagement of the campaign... makes people discomforted," he added. "If you follow all that stuff, my suggestion is don't follow it, stop reading Politico! Stop reading the clips!"
He continued: "It doesn't matter. A week from now they're going to be writing about something else."

I wish I had millions of dollars in disposable cash. I would probably buy a lake and a gun shop.
This way I can drain the lake, fish out all the guns lost in boating mishaps, clean them and return them to their rightful owners.

He is right about it being a fun campaign, it has been loads of fun seeing Yeb get monkey stomped during this process.
Consider that Jeb is the CEO of his campaign. What kind of corporate CEO would tell investors to "chill out" when earnings decline and prospects don't look so rosy.
I think Jeb has gone soft since he left the governor's office. Either that or he has had a small stroke.
IOW, “Keep your money in play so that I can piss it away on consultants that don’t know sh!t except how to bill me.”

Oh, I’m just sure the donors are comforted by “chill out.” Jebbie will be getting the “chill” all right.
Pop’s book is the last nail in Jeb’s coffin. The Bush family is noted for pointing fingers at others for their blunders.

When candidates have to talk about their campaigns rather than the issues that propel them to run, they’re toast. He’s toast.

I think doing the act of Netflix and “chill” with Yeb is the last thing elite-loser-backing Jeb! Donors want - looks like Rubio’s going to get some cash in the next couple of weeks as we near Jeb! Dropping out.
