Just like the midterms one year ago, it was another awful night for Democrats. Republican Matt Bevin won a big upset in the Kentucky governors race. Democrats failed to pick up Virginias state Senate. Houstons Equal Rights Ordinance, designed to protect the rights of gay citizens and others, failed by a wide margin. Ohio rejected marijuana legalization by a two-to-one margin. Even in San Francisco, the sheriff who steadfastly defended the citys sanctuary city policy went down.

Also, consider the source. This must have hurt at the far-left WaPo. Heh-heh ;-)
American Voters are waking up and they are not happy!!!
We are lucky that adults vote in off year elections. However, waves of low information voters are coming next year.
Meanwhile, we may put a Socialist in the White House.
It seems like conservatives often “score huge victories” in the run up to Presidential elections, only to get our azz handed to us in November.
Still, this is good news for what it is.
The “lesser of two evils” monomaniacs?
Look, if Bush is the Republican I will not vote for him, but I would vote all the other issues and would still do what I can.
“From coast to coast, conservatives score huge victories in off-year elections”
It says CONSERVATIVE victories, NOT Establishment victories.
Of course it matters.
The HERO (Houston Equal Rights Ordinance) was nothing more than a way for the leftists via the Houston lesbo mayor to run roughshod over any business they didn’t like. That is besides allowing the Caitlyn/Bruce’s of the world to enter women’s locker rooms, bathrooms etc.
Ms. Licket-D-Split mayor got her butch haircut handed to her.
It is a good thing.
SF was the most shocking.
Didn’t think legal mj would be popular in OH.
KY and MS are fairly Republican these days, so no surprises there.
Glad the GOP held on to the VA legislature.
VA has trended strongly liberal in recent years.
Idiots voted for all 3 PA Supreme Court candidates
Nope, if Bush were the R candidate, I simply would not vote. I’ll fill out the rest of the ballot, but there ain’t no way I’d ever vote for Jeb. I don’t want that on my conscience.
What he does in his private life is his business.
GO TRUMP!
“How long before the nay-sayers on this website claim that this does not matter and that the voters should have stayed at home? “
Great observation.
I think these loudmouths are on the other side.
And yet Obamacare, not to mention the entire edifice of massive, progressive government in DC will remain totally unchanged.
Ever wonder why?
Tyrant, not just a socialist.
A tyrant goes around the courts and Congress.
Obama is way beyond a socialist and seems determined to take us down as a country.
He was raised Muslim and at least one parent felt the USA was a conquer of innocent people’s in need of being taken down.
From those thoughts and parents we have Barry Obama.
What happened in that Fairfax County, Virginia, school board fight, where gender confused locker rooms and rest rooms became an issue?
