The beleaguered candidate has apologized for a remark he made during last week's Republican debate poking fun at the French. His comment drew criticism from the French Ambassador.
Bush said he did a disservice by suggesting during last week's Republican presidential debate that the Senate operates "on a French work week." While travelling through New Hampshire as part of his campaign tour this week, Bush told reporters he regretted the comment.

If he can’t stand up to the French, who can he stand up to?
To: jimbo123
Well, we owe them an apology . . . for saving them from the German Nazis just so they could import even more insane Islamofacist nazis.

One of the markers of Western decadence is the endless apologies for everything.
That's part of the brilliance of Donald Trump. He's ascendant. He doesn't issue endless mindless apologies.

Now, we need to hear Jeb apologize for apologizing. That reminds me. I sort of miss watching “Lil” Bush. Gonna see if any sites have it avail. Semper Fi

As long as Trump, Carson, and Cruz don’t do what Jeb just did, i.e., apologize for telling the truth, they’ll be contenders.

I think the video of that foul gang of brats will work to Trump's advantage by reflecting poorly on immigrant children.
My parents would have disowned me for speaking like that...or would have called in an exorcist.

Plenty of us work 10+ hours a day so by Wednesday we have put in a French work week.
We’re also the ones who won’t be voting for you Jeb. So, f@$& you and your pathetic, half-assed, presumptive campaign.
You can just go away now.

Does anyone on this board think for a moment that even a single sound-bite - like "French work week" - coming out of Jeb Bush's mouth during the debate wasn't been studied and analyzed to exhaustion by Jeb's team prior to being "approved" for prime-time?
Jeb's "regret" is thus completely hollow.
