Officials say there was a "a preponderance of evidence†that Township High School District 211, which is based in Palatine, Illinois, failed to comply with Title IX, the federal law that prohibits sex discrimination.
The student filed a complaint with the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights in 2013 after she was denied the right to have unlimited use of the girls’ locker room, the Chicago Tribune reports. A solution appeared to be in the works, until school officials put up privacy curtains in the locker room and said the student would be required to use the private area while changing.

“Transgender Student” = male person with XY chromosomes with severe mental issues, just to read between the lines and be honest and science-y about it.
Wow, that's a crazy thing. So if you're not good enough to make the boy's varsity team, you can leverage your weight/height/strength advantage by pretending to be a female. This is going to anger the marginal girl players who may be looking to the sports teams for financial assistance in college.
When I was growing up there were zero. What has changed?
One boy in the girls locker room is bad. But what about the girl who decides she is a boy? That is where the trouble will really begin. Now I suppose some boys may claim to be trans just to get a look at the girls, but how long can that last? The girl in the boys’ locker room will be in real danger, imo.
The school is already letting the freaks use their identifying restrooms and playing on which ever sports teams. That’ll give them a “leg up” on the women’s golf, basketball and tennis teams.
I’d have my child outta that school faster than you can say chromosome.
Whatever gender they identify with they still have hormones. If he were gay he would want to stay in the boys locker room. But he does not. Yes, this will not end well.

I noticed that the large majority of comments at the Yahoo article agree that this is a disgusting travesty of a court ruling. I just can’t understand all this accommodation and handwringing for such a minuscule segment of the population. This country has gone insane.

Well, they didn’t violate Title IX until the US govt just recently redefined “Sex” as in gender. Forever there were two. Now there can be as many as you want.
