Jeb Bush has started attacking Marco Rubio for skipping Senate votes this year - something that has come under scrutiny in recent weeks.
(snip)
In October 2003, though, when he was majority leader in the Florida House, Rubio faced similar criticism. He missed a key vote for a "family issue" -but also attended game five of the World Series in Miami.

But Rubio wasn't the only lawmaker who missed the vote! In fact, a number of lawmakers flew from Tallahassee to Miami - on Jeb Bush's state plane.
That's right: Lawmakers skipped a vote, because they were on a plane with Bush.

Worst things about baseball:
“The Bush Family” comes in just slightly behind “Steroids” and “The Designated Hitter”.
Seems Rubio has a lot of family issues. Maybe he needs to resign to take care of those before attempting to run a country he isn’t qualified to do. Family issues are just an excuse to get out of doing something someone doesn’t want to do.
Big deal. Teddy Cruz was at a gay party when he should have been voting. So whats the difference.
They should be FIRED from the Senate and replaced if they miss votes. If they cannot do the job, they should get the hell out and give the job to someone who can.
Not as many as Trump, who to switches views about his wives almost as often as he switches views about how to run the country.
He has told the same story over the years. I don’t know where getting your misinformation, but I suggest you look elsewhere. Go away troll!
Are you from Crook County ? It figures.
I do not understand why we should continue to have our congressmen physically be present in the Capital Building when they take votes.
In the beginning of the Republic, that was necessary, however the state of the art has advanced so significantly it is no longer necessary.
Once we can get our reps out of that den of thieves, locals could then get more control over them.
Just think how much more expensive it would be for the lobbyists to influence them when our reps are at over 500 different locations.
