Judge stalls approved Montana coal mine expansion in 2nd successful suit citing climate change. The U.S. Interior Department should not have approved the expansion of a southeastern Montana coal mine without taking a closer look at its effect on the environment, a federal judge said about a lawsuit arguing the government ignored coal's contributions to climate change.
Environmental groups sued the Interior Department after it approved an expansion of the Spring Creek Coal mine in 2012. The case marks the second time conservationists have used worries over climate change to successfully challenge approval of a coal mine after it had been granted.

Spring Creek Mine is an important part of America's energy supply and Montana's economy

WildEarth Guardians, has mounted an aggressive legal campaign against the coal industry in recent years, challenging decisions affecting 11 mines in five states through a spate of lawsuits.
A decision is pending in a case involving the San Juan coal mine in New Mexico. In September, lawyers for the group contested federal approval of mine plans and coal leases in four states: the Antelope and Black Thunder mines in Wyoming's Powder River Basin, the El Segundo Mine in New Mexico, the Bowie No. 2 Mine in Colorado and the Skyline Mine in Utah.

This judge was appointed in 2002, so I am assuming she was a Bush appointment.
This ain’t your grandfather’s Democratic Party.
It’s been the ComDem Party since 1984.
That was the last year that the CPUSA ran a POTUS candidate.
Ever since then they endorsed the Democrat candidate.
They had a recurring seat at the table since then.
It is the Communist Democrat Party... Fact
Operative word.
OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?
As much as I hate these environmental, law suits, I am happy about this one. The government and Peabody energy have a long history of cronyism. What is sad is that the local Infians always seem to get the short end of the stick. In the case of theses coal companies in the Powder River Basin, they have made the tribes partners finally in an attempt to prejudice the court and Army Corp of engineers to rule favorably on their behalf.
Patty Murray made a deal with Mitch McConnell to to renew the Import Export bank to aid the export of the coal from the Powder River Basin mines to Asia. There has been a huge battle over the terminal in WA, particularly, Whatcom County with the Republicans are supporting the project against the environmental, left and local property owners.
What is odd is the coalition of the Republicans and the far left union groups and the tactics that they use against the opposition. The unions had originally promised to back Republican candidates for election, but that didn’t happen. I did a good job of pointing out the fact that local Republicans had appeared on stage with these radical union reps from the coal terminal project. The Unions finally admitted that they weren’t going to vote Republican but that they would help Republicans fight local environmental groups on issues of water regulation and farming.
The Unions started a big email campaign on social media in favor of the local farmers but against property owners near the proposed terminal, and this is the interesting part, every single communication from this Union group was accompanied by the socialist fist, colored green. So we saw Republican posts and letters marked with a socialist fist.
