Obama wants to use our guys to discourage the Russians from bombing the Islamists completely out of Syria for fear they might cause an incident if they accidentally kill some.
And if he gets a few of them killed, whats it to him?
He must have gone to the gym, pumped a few pounds of iron, got some pimple of a muscle and is now trying to flex them. He’s still a long way from Moochelle’s muscles.
There is nothing in the Middle East worth spending one US dollar on, or having one GI dying for. We are destroying our country with our incompetent foreign policy.
The establishment wants the mil-industrial machine greased with more Chinese debt and our military to serve as fodder.
Obama created the refugee crisis in the first place with his civil war plan to oust Assad.

In Syria, there are no good guys. They’re all bad. You only get involved there to make sure the less bad guys are in control. At this point, Assad (supported by Russia) is the least bad choice.

Seriously, what is the mission, and most importantly what value does our country, OUR COUNTRY, gain in return for the sacrifices of our soldiers?
Knowing that our POTUS is weak, hates America, hates Christians, etc. makes ANY initiative from the withe hut questionable.
To democrats the only just war is one in which the US has no national interests or engaging in it will harm America.

It’s all obviously part of his ME plan to institute a caliphate by removing all secular & Christian leaderships from power. Thus, he has decided Assad must go; thing is, his tactics have been non- or covert-involvement, and now he has to face open warfare with a real military.

Unfortunately, I think you could well be correct. Obama would love to get us into a shooting war with Russia while he is spreading chaos and protecting the Islamists. Obama would further weaken the US, get more Christians killed, protect ISIS, and spread the Caliphate - all with one destructive act.
He’s hoping that he can use them as human shields to stop Putin from doing what should have been done years ago. Pathetic.
